Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course and teachers are friendly and helpful. They will guide you through the 5-year lengthy process of dentistry. The faculty: student ratio varies every year as the subject increases. The students have different subjects each year. There are some subjects like prosthodontics and endodontics which start from the first and second year onwards. The teachers prefer PowerPoint presentations for teaching and there are practical's to make the students aware of the dynamics of dentistry. The faculty have usually done masters and Ph.D. There was internals conducted to prepare the students for the finals. That was pretty timely, it was easy to pass the exams owing to friendly teachers.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are internships, but no stipend. During the internship period, the college upskills you on your practical work so you can be ready to apply for jobs in hospitals or clinics or set up your dental clinic.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no fee hikes except for the hostlers. Other instruments were required in dentistry which might have added to the cost. There was no financial assistance. But students can apply for merit-based scholarships. The students can join the college after passing out the exams if any vacancy is available.

Campus Life

2.5

There are abundant books in the library; however, the library is fine. The fest is usually conducted by the interns in March when everyone is done with their University exams. The classrooms are well-equipped with fans, benches, monitors for PowerPoint presentations, For sports and extra-curricular there are poster-making competitions and conferences where one can highlight their academic skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is close to my home town and fees is reasonable this two things influence me to choose this course. College prepare at its level but we have to prepare ourselves for each and every hurdle in practice and clinics. The teaching methods of college is very old and slow they should try new methods so that students also take interest in studies. Timing of exams are not fix they take exams any time , they take internals before 1 month of final exams , college not give us paper leave.
