Remarks

UG Courses 1. The University accepts admission to the BTech programme based on a candidate's rank in JEE Main. 2. Admission to the rest of the UG programmes is merit-based. PG Courses 1. Medi-Caps University MTech admission is based on a candidate's performance in GATE and qualifying exams both. 2. MBA admissions are based on both CAT/ MAT and qualifying exam scores. 3. The University selects candidates to rest of the PG programmes through their academic merit. PhD Courses 1. Selection to PhD programmes is done on the basis of a University-conducted entrance examination, followed by an interview round. Note: 1. For all the above course we can find the admission form on the university website. 2. Cut-off generally chances each year, as I am a Btech student so I know about that only in my time the cut-off is 60% minimum on 12th(for 12th basis) and under 2 lakhs rank in jee mains(for jee based).

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In my course which is computer science branch there are seven teachers are there for seven different lecture. Average age of our teachers are around 33. They all are well qualified, before joining a college they had to give a test to subject HOD. All teachers are having more than 5 years of experience of teaching. If student have doubt some teacher are solve but some are not. I don't know about lecturer certification and all. Faculty was super amazing and super strict, they gave us all the knowledge they had, also gave ample amount of regular lectures on each subjects which imparted the habit of punctuality in students, all were mostly engineering graduates and master degree graduates. The exam are like above average level of difficulty. And the the teacher student ratio is about 1:50

Placement Experience

5

From 5th semester students are eligible for internships and campus placements and a lot of companies are invited by the college T&P cell. Placement of university for the computer science branch is almost 90%. And of we take percentage of placement for all the branches then it is around 75%.The company's most visited in our college are TCS, IBM, infosys, byjus and many IT companies. They provide student to take part in project for the placement season. University start providind intership to students from 3 year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has fees for the CS branch around 1 lakh per year and it's a little bit expensive plus the bus charges and a lot of other charges for extra and if you live in hostel then you have to pay for hostel also and that's around 60 to 70 thousand per year and it keeps increasing every year. College accept fees through online portal from cards and net banking. No I haven't opted for any loan or scholarship, but there were few to be offered but not from college side it was from government bodies or some other sources and University. Almost 75% placement amongst all the students from all the branches the students from branches like CS IT generally have huge amount of placements amongst other batchmates.

Campus Life

4.5

There were not many but a few of the events that are organized in the college but the huge one was one that is named Moonstone its a 3-4 day event apart from that there was some technical Hackathon and challenges part. Every student of the college was given equal opportunity if the eligibility criteria meets and there was no partiality with anyone. Overall it was a great experience. Equal gender ratio and a pretty diverse focus on every aspect other than academics. There were no cases of ragging being reported by any of the students and overall they were quite strict while handling the students and their mischief. No discrimination on the basis of religion and caste whatsoever, this is a very great trait at a college. Yes, there are many clubs run by the students and they have their own websites and their own social media accounts which are run by students only. Students have to apply for getting selected for the clubs then senior members or the teacher associated to take interviews or tests.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate as comparatively less companies visits every year. Number of students for placements are more and companies visits are less that cause less placement ratio for on campus. Moreover upto the end of 8th semester almost 80% of students get placed both including on campus and off campus. My plan is to get a job after graduation.

In my point of view If you can afford good fee you should never even think of this college. The college is only for local students or the students those do not have a good score and wants a college with no donation and students having strong will power that they will not mix up with the local students can go for the admission.
