Remarks

The eligibility criteria of this college in the course of the bachelor of computer application branch is to you have a 50% mark in your intermediate. You can easily find an application form for this college from the site of CIMS where you have to pay 1000 rupees for fees and you can fill out the form for this college to take admission and they also provide you reservation benefits. I don't think that the college needs any type of improvement in its admission process because it is a direct admission process and it is very easy for the student to take admitted to this college without traveling to various places for filling out the forms.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are very helpful at this college they are so much qualified and knowledgeable and have a lots and lot of experience in teaching and industrial knowledge. The course curriculum of this college is very relevant to our field which we are studying to get placement in big agencies etc. The semester exams are not so difficult and the pattern is about 10 questions of 7 marks each.

Basically, I am a student of bachelor of computer application in which almost 30 to 40% of students get a placement in the industries. The highest package is about 6-8lakhs per annum according to your skills average package is always 4 lakhs per annum and the minimum package is as less than about 2.5 lakhs per annum. The main recruiting companies for MBA course in this college is Wipro, Mahindra, Amazon, etc. and the main role offered is brand representative, manager, company grower, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, we also get a scholarship from the state government of up to 10000 per year. It is good that it clears many parts of my hostel fees. My campus life was very good. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences there. Many cultural events and sports tournaments happen within the college. State-level and national-level events happen within my college. they offer a free course training program also. There are separate grounds for every type of sports activity.

Campus Life

The College of innovative Management and science is also the college organization where that organizes various types of events to make the student's college life more enjoyable like a fresher party, college fest, annual fest, farewell party, sports events, etc. all these events are fully prepared in the best way of proper enjoyment. The college also has many types of social groups & clubs where students can take part in extra curricular activities and these clubs have their websites run by the students so that students of this college can learn some extra skills.

Good Internship Opportunities

Likes

The faculty members are supportive and always helps students with academics and projects
The campus has modern labs, good classrooms, and many technical and cultural events

Dislikes

The campus becomes crowded during peak hours due to large number of students
More industry internships and live projects should be included in the same curriculum.
Administrative work can sometimes take longer than expected during busy periods

Placements are good for students who Maintain strong academic performance and develop technical skills. Students usually become eligible for campus placement in the final year. Many well know companies visit campus for the recruitment, offering role in software, IT, consulting and other fields. The average package around ₹ 5.4 LPA , while the highest package has reached ₹ 60 LPA in recent placement drives.

Likes

I liked the Infrastructure here and the greenery and canteens well hygienic and clean .
Faculties are very supportive and well educated in their field they do encourage and support the students . They are easy to approach .
The campus life is very good here , the events etc and you will get to see various clubs here where you can participate and learn various skills like team work , time management etc.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is strict here so that sometimes student faces some difficulty .
They can include more practical work for technical students .

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is getting better many students were placed this year with avg package of 4LPA and higest of 20 LPA . Percentage of Placed students is 60-70% in my batch because rest of all will go for masters . Companies like Chetu , tech mahindra visits here . From 5th semester students are become eligible for appling for campus placements and it is mandatory to apply those who want placement and if you once applied you have to attend the drive . They used to bring company till the students who wants placement are not placed apart from that they prepare students for placement throught PDP classes and one one to mentorship .

Good college with decent opportunities

Likes

Good faculty co ordinator and good infrastructure
Classrooms are also neat and clean as well
Library and labs are also set and best in condition

Dislikes

Sports and sports management are little busy.
Entrance Gate rule( opening & closing feels like we re in school)
Everything id good as well not any problem

Placement Experience:

Placement from ghe college are average. Student becomes eligible from final year. Few companies visits the college offering basic roles. The average package is around 4-6 lpa and some capable students get placed too.many student are also plan for higher studies or prepare for compatative exams after graduation.

The beauty of United university

Likes

Good campus environment, clean campus as well as a lot of greenary in campus
Many security gaurds present at different levels of gates and availability of a lots of cameras
Faculty is good and understanding making it easy for the students to interact with the teachers

Dislikes

75 percent is a must and they font allow students to give exam if the attendance is below 75
The students are not allowed outside the hostel premises after 9:30pm
Hostel premises are closed during main festivals like holi and diwali

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

There are many placements made even though KCCILHE is a new college. Companies that visited the campus are HCL, TCS, Cognizant, etc. 80-85 % of students are placed. After completing my graduation in BCA from KCCILHE I will prepare for NIMCET for further studies.

CIMS- AN OVERVIEW

I applied to every college on the Lucknow University affiliated college list but chose CIMS due to the following reasons: > Networking: I had many acquantances who were currently studying or have just passed out with placements from CIMS. This helped me realise the actuality of the college. >Location: As mentioned, the college campus is located smack dab in the middle of the city. This was a major element in my decision making as I travelled by myself and need to choose a place not far yet not so close to my own home. >Student Body: As I made a visit at the college, I got to see the type of students who were studying at the college, I found them to be a great crowd and this played an essential role in the decision. The admission process was as simple as it gets. I was accompanied with my father and we visited the college campus and asked for a tour. When we were done with it, I had made the decision to enroll there. We filled the form there and then only and made a seat confirmation amount of Rs 3500, which was later deduced from my 1st Semester fee. My life in My college

I applied for BBD but I choose CIMS for it extra curricular activities and holistic development approach of the college and also the location of this college is also good as I am from gorakhpur but I stayed in hostel of CIMS only and every thing is easily available.
