Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I have an interest in it. The faculty: student ratio is 1:50. The lecturers and professors of the college are highly educated and they get to serve in the college only if they get through state public service examinations, so the facilities are very intellectual and their teaching methods are highly appreciable. There are 2-semester exams per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since the college is a government-funded college the fees are very minimal. There are no extra charges in the college. Financial assistance is provided through many scholarship schemes. The scholarships are not college funded but are from the state and central governments. There is no campus jobs or placement in the college.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is quite fascinating. The college organizes many fests during the year like spring fest, win fest and Cultural and literary fests. The college has all kinds of infrastructure and facilities needed. There are also social groups like NCC, NSS, etc. There are also many clubs like nature club, science club, literary club, book club, photography club, etc.
Admission
Admission to Kohima Science College is merit-based. According to the marks scored in the 10+2 exam, the college gives first priority to the top mark scorers. There is no entrance exam conducted. The application form is available if the official website of the college. Since it is a government-funded college the fees here are minimal.
