St. Joseph University is situated in Dimapur, Nagaland and was established in 2016. It is a private University established Under Nagaland Govt. Act No.6 of 2016. The university was established by DMI Foundations which is an effort of the sisters of DMI (Daughter of Mary Immaculate) and the fathers of MMI (Missionaries OF Mary Immaculate) of the Catholic Church.
St. Joseph University has a sprawling green campus spread over 33 acres of land with well -connected roads and easy accessibility to the airport and railway station within six kilometer distance. University offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.
The university envisions to learn, discover, create and innovate and to become global leaders with proper education.
University creates future global leaders. In order to do that, Universuty believes in reasearch and creativity towards building leadership and entrepreneurship. The students are trained on the baisis of employable education and according to changing trends of global situations resulting in meaningful lives and responsible citizenship.

St. Joseph University offers various UG courses such as BA, B.Sc., B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com and B.S.W (Bachelors in Social Work). St.Joseph University admissions are mostly based on merit-based criteria.
Eligibility: Candidate should have completed 12th class from any recognized board with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
For admission in B.Tech, The average marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects should be 45% for General and 40% for Reserved Categories.
PG Programs are present such as MCA, M.Sc., MBA, M.Com.and MA.
Eligibility: Candidate should have completed Graduation from any recognized institution in relevant course.
University offers M.Phill and Ph.d in various specializations.
Eligibility: Candidate must have completed their Masters with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories) in any discipline.
Along with above, admission to doctoral programs will be based on written test followed by presentation and then students will be selected on merit-based.
