I have a keen interest in the microbial world and want to pursue research. The faculties are highly qualified and all the teachers use the chalkboard method for teaching. Weekly presentations are also organized to develop students' skills and build confidence. Generally, 2 internal exams are conducted in a semester with an external exam conducted by the university at the end of the semester.

Different internship opportunities are available in different departments of various companies such as QC, R&D, QA, etc. Assistance is also provided in terms of placement. Students' interests are given utmost importance.

In BSc Microbiology they provide internship opportunities in the 6th Semester. Different pharma companies, and chemical industries also visited for placements. After a BSc degree, you can either continue in the industry or pursue higher studies.

The course fee for BSc Microbiology is 30000 per year. Compared to other universities, the facilities and opportunities provided by this college are great. Different scholarships by the government and DST can also be availed. Placement opportunities are also very good.

The annual tech fest of ITMBU is "ILLUMINATI". It is conducted in the month of March. Different technical events, literati events, and cultural events are organized. In the library reference books related to different subjects are available. Sports day and events are also organized which include Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, and Kabaddi. Different clubs for literature, music, and dance are also there.
