Remarks

There are good things like, I won the Best Manager inter-class event were I have cleared the 8 different rounds. Also took part in management fest organised by college. Get runner up prize in inter college Management Fest held at Dayandand Saraswati College.

Entrance Preview

I took K-MAT entrance exam and scored 92%. My friends were studying there and so I too prefer the same college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Entire course was divided in 4 semesters. Each semester was of 6 months and there was separate evaluation on Half yearly basis. Also there was own lead summer project on 1st year end and there was 3 month long project in 4th semester under the coach guidance and it was considered like a subject in final result.

Internships Opportunities

No. Over college was not providing any internship. But as a part of project, we can work with any company or organisation to get the exposure and experience of corporate before entering to real work of corporate. Also we had Industry visit in Bharat Forge, Maharashtra and Kingfjisher , Goa to visit the plan and learn the marketing, supply management and production information of those giant companies.

Placement Experience

0.5

At the time of my course completion, there was subprime crisis in US and it has badly hit the job opportunity in Bangalore who has largest outsource clients. It was time of pink slip and opportunity for new hires were less and competition was very high. So that time in campus placement most of the Insurance companies were coming.

College Events

1.5

Inter class quizzes Management Games Inter-college management competitions Management Fest once in a year Dance , singing and fashion show events Freshers Party at the start of the year to welcome new batch Farewell events for senior who are competing the course

Fee Structure And Facilities

I took admission through consultant and same was in management quota so fee was higher compare to others. Entire program was for 2 year and course fee was 3,85,000. We have given the option to pay the fees in 2 installment, each of 1,75,000. and there was 35,000 included in fees for laptop and college has provided the HCL laptop to all the students. There was separate change of blazer of Rs.5,500

Fees and Financial Aid

College was not offering any loan and scholarship facilities. I have tried to get the student loan as my fees were higher but bank was not providing the student loan to who have taken admission through management quota.

Campus Life

2

We had 70:30 gender ration where 70% population was of male student. We had student from different states of the country. We had students from Karnataka, Tamil, Chennai, Gujarat, Rajashthan and Hyderabad. There was grouping in local students but stills all were were friendly nature and supportive.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no hostel facility provided by the college. We need to arrange our own accommodation. My friends were studying in Bangalore and were leaving in group of 5 in a 2 BHK . There was 15,000 monthly rent was paid and I have joined them and we total 6 were sharing the monthly rent of 15,000.

Alumni/Alumna

College was pure in this area. There was no network created for alumni but yes, college was visited by few senior students when there were passing near to college and interact with us.

Exam Structure

Exams were on every six month. As i was in MBA program there was no lab but yes, we had the good library which was equipped with required book and also had good magazines to know about the market. For exams, we had 1 paper each day and there wont be any gap except calendar and Sunday holidays.

Admission

I took admission in management quota. I had taken admission through consultant there who completed all the admission formalities from getting form to submit all the documents. It was hassle free admission process and I get the admission through my K-MAT score.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculties/ professors had rich experience of particular subject. Like we had professor from Banking industry for Financial management. A working CA was taking the subject of Taxation. Marketing management and supply chain management subject were taken by faculties who are aspiring for Phd in those areas.

The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs.
