Entrance Preview

I took direct admission in my college. I landed up in this college as i saw a list of top colleges and this college had its name in that list. No interview was taken. I choose B.Tech because of the vast career opportunities in future.

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently i am pursuing bachelor if technology in mechanical engineering and this course suits me the best.This course is very good and helpful for me. My college lay keen emphasis on practical knowledge and lab work is performed every single day of week. My college helps the students to do research in every branch.Management provides us with all the opportunities

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provides a lot of opportunities for internship. College is having BOSCH,TEXAS,IBM cloud computing and many other collabarated labs. The experience in these labs according to differnt students ia very satisfying and they increase the practical knowledge upto a good extent. The average amount spent was 5000₹

Placement Experience

When companies started to visit the college the scene of college was completely changed.seniors were looking tensed and nervous about their interviews.Daily new companies were visiting the college. Almost 90% students were placed according to the details given by the college. Major comapanies were- 1.Bajaj 2.TCS 3.Infosys 4.Mahindra The average package given was 4.5 lacks per annum.

College Events

My college organized robochamps event and this event was so big that colleges from different cities took part in this and we were so excited to see the drones flying. Cultural fests include Rangotsav Kolaahal Glitz Chitrayatra And many more.... My college organized cricket tournament also. My college is having various committies for organizing these fests. The organizqtion of all these fedts and eventa were so good that the college was praised by the university and yed the college authorities gave their best for the success of these events.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provide prize of 2000₹ to students having marks greater than 75% and college gived scholarships to girl students. No i didn't avail any scholarship till yet. I am not knowing about the loan facilities in college.

Campus Life

College provide a lot of opportunities to every individual to show his/her talent and be in spotlight. Talent may be of any time like Singing Games Sports Acting And many other... Facilities include a club for games,separate grounds for every sport. College provides with many opportunities to show talent in music.

Hostel Facilities

Yeah,I am residing in hostel.There are three hostels in my college. 1.NBH-For 1st and 4th year boys 2.SBH-For 2nd and 3rd year boys 3.Girls hostel-For girls of all years Hostel rooms are very spacious. There are 3 type of rooms 1.2 seater 2.3 seater 3.4 seater Rooms are very spacious. No of table,chair,beds are according to tyoe of room i.e 1 for 1. Hostek rooms are cleaned every single day. Hostel fee is 61000₹ 20000 for food 40000 for rooms 1000 for laundry. Only one thing that i didnt liked about the college was mess food.The taste of mess food was good for few days but when the food items kept on repeating then it became boring to eat that same food.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of my college is very helpful. Just now my college organized glitz fest and alumni gave theur precious advice which helped the event to be successful. Alumni can visit the college whenever they want.My college provides with a brochure in which precious thoughts and advice of alumni is written which is about their good and bedt experiences of life. Alumni contribute in the overall development of college as they keep on telling about the career opprtunities.

Exam Structure

No,the labs and exams were not at all boring.Faculties try to make the labs very interactive and learning for every individual. Exams does not put extreme pressure on students and students enjoy giving exams as they learn their mistakes and get rid of them in future. We have to give 3 sessionals before our final exams which help us to learn most of the syllabus before final exam days.

Most of the faculties are P.hd in their respective fields.Some faculties are masters of technology in their fields. Faculties here are very interactive. They can be approached any time and they will solve our problem. The standard of teaching is of professional standard and teachers are best in their fields.

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

Likes

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

To get admission in MIET you should score 70% marks and clear 10+2.
