Remarks

0% attendance is required in our college. Basically, the college provides you the liberty to explore the world yourself and pursue the interest of your own. This is one of the reasons that our college has a vigorous coding culture and the students grab placements in many top level software companies such as Google, Oracle, Facebook, etc.

Entrance Preview

There is an entrance exam called BITS ADMISSION TEST [BITSAT] which is needed to crack to enter into three bits universities

Course Curriculum Overview

5

BITS offers flexibility in course curriculum. You get to interact with some of the good minds. Hyderabad has got a great student community, so good opportunities to learn outside academics. ( like workshops, seminars or sports/plays/language learning etc., ) You can develop your interest in any subject ranging from humanities to electronics to film making etc., so it gives u ample opportunities. Its upto you to pursue what you want to do depending on your interests. for the second part of the question. BITS has something called dual degree, where you graduate in 2 degree, you can combine EEE + CS in that.

Internships Opportunities

YES they are two practise schools(internship programs) PS-i at the end of 2nd year is basically for the the industrial exposure of students and hence no stipend is generally given in PS-I,PS-II takes place at the end of your graduation, a good amount of stipend averaging about 25k pm is given to students.Industries/companies are arranged by institute for internship.

Placement Experience

5

Campus placements are pretty good and the placement division which handles all the placement related things includes students also for the smooth process and the better coordination. 65-75% students get placed. The highest package is around 25 LPA, lowest is around 5.5 LPA and the average salary is around 8 LPA. Comapnies like Flipkart, Amazon, Qualcomm, and many finance and analytics companies also visited for recruitment. The roles which companies offered are coding profile, core, analyst, consultant, trader etc. Every student is provided with an internship. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 45000 per month, the lowest is Rs. 5000 and the average is around Rs. 15000 per month.

College Events

5

ALL the main fest of the college are national level fests with budgeting upto 1 crore. ATMOS -technical fest.(various competitons like robowars, mini gp,coding competitions occur) ARENA- sports fest.PEARL -cultural fest.(various celebrities come like Farhan Akhatar,Sonu Nigam e.t.c)Whole of the fests are managed by students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive. But if you compare with other institutions like Manipal, AMITY, NITs and IITs ours is more of same. Fee is okay when you consider the facilities that they are offering, infrastructure and placements.Hence fee structure is not expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are given by banks at a lower rate of interest than other colleges as BITS come under premium colleges.Regarding scholarships-There are mainly two types of scholarships Merit scholarship(given to top 10-15 students of a batch) and MCN (merit cum need scholarship) ,it is given on the basis of parent's income and c.g.p.a of the student.

Campus Life

5

yes the university focus on the extracurricular activities and also give chance to every student to show their inner talent. there will be competition being held between different university as a tournament. it really increase our interest in sports etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We do not have sharing basis accommodation. We have single occupancy based. And our campus has accommodation for 5000 for both boys and girls. Accommodation is included for BE, ME, B Pharma, M Pharma, and PhD. Accommodation is really cool. In hostel they provide Cot, cupboards, LAN for internet, study table and chair. Fee for hostel accommodation is 17,700 /- Rs. per sem and food separate.

Alumni/Alumna

Our Alumina is really huge. No matter which part of world you go either for travel. We have CUG networks to communicate and share. As soon as you rise your quire you get response or else you will be directed to some one by means of tagging you to some one. Our Alumina is such a huge network.

Exam Structure

Exams are taken regularly to check the learning outcome of students but they are not too much to burden the students and when it comes to timetable of classes a full freedom to each and every student is given to make their own timetable,on an average schedule is perfect in which ample time is given to academics and extracurricular activities,

Faculty

5

The faculty here is well versed and very experienced. Most of the professors have done their Master's from reputed institutes. Many of them are involved in research sector currently and students work under them to explore more of their field. The University offers two Practice Schools; one in the end of second year and the other in either of the semester of final year. This helps the student to get industrial exposure and prepares them for the real world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
