What Students Say

Likes

Campus infrastructure, clg location, necessary facilities for student.
Only some of the teacher, well suportive .
Sports encouragement, huge ground and bus facilities for student coming from remote areas

Dislikes

Curriculum is too out dated, and multiple useless sub are included.
Less focus on practical and more on theoretical.
Long and hectic classes , gives less time to self study

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is good. Infrastructure is also fine. The faculty-student ratio is also satisfactory we have 30 students over 1 teacher of each subject which is good. Faculty are also well qualified to the demand to teach. Clg ends the semester in 3-4 months exams are of moderate to high level. Proper practical and viva.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I haven't seen any company coming for an internship or providing stepped. Students have to look off-campus for any opportunity. Make your own project and try it off campus. Clg has no role to play in an internship. But they provide assistance in placements.

Placement Experience

From 3-semester companies start visiting Or we can say after the end of 2-semester placement starts. Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, Amazon, and many more. Among 100 students hardly 30-40 got placed maximum. We have an average pancake of 4.5 lahks.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess is 1.5 lakh per annum. We have a discount for domicile students. Students above 60 in graduation or more. Army concession. We have discounts for girl students and foreigners as well. No inter yet. No financial assistance is provided.

Campus Life

3.5

We have multiple tech fest and annual fest also sometimes. The college has Abundant books Huge library with good ambiance for studying and WIFI faculties. We have a projector in the classroom. The college has a huge Sports ground multiple sports groups and multiple tournaments are organized timely.

Admission

Focus more on student counseling rather than exploitation and sugarcoating. Students are good in IG courses there should be a proper counseling team that would guide students. Providing discounts to those who have scored high marks and making a healthy environment within the campus and teachers.

Likes

The number of companies that visited and did process witht the college for my course - MCA, was th highest among all other universities offering the same course
The scenic beauty of UPES campus, is outstanding. 2-3 years will glide off beautifully and with very lovly memories

Some of the student crowd, which was just there because of scenery and addictions, was very irritating. Staying away from such people was a task

Placement Experience:

The best a college can provide in these financially difficulties, is provided by UPES. The number of companies this college brought, has out-ranked any other college/university providing MCA course. The highest was a 25 LPA package at Salesforce.

Likes

Uttaranchal university offers a engaging campus life.
The classrooms are well equipped with modern teaching aids and the libraries have a vast collection of books and digital resources.

Dislikes

While the hostels are generally good, there is room for improvements in terms of maintenance and hygiene.

Placement Experience:

Studnets with 60% in 12th are eligible for most of the placements as there is a barrier of 60%, being from the IT they bought only sales companies for the students. Mostly startups companies were there.

A candid review of my 3 years over graphic Era hill University Bhimtal.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. There is 1500 registration fee to get your seats confirmed for the selected course. Well there is no specific criteria for cut-off....Read More

My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 result, they also see your CUET score and JEE score before the admission. Admission experience was good....Read More
