Medicaps University Indore, BE/B.Tech

Reviewed on Oct 29, 2017(Enrolled 2015)

Remarks

Mediacaps University is overall good. According to a survey, it ranks first among the top private universities of Madhya Pradesh.

Entrance Preview

I landed up to this college through IIT JEE Mains examination and thereafter filling the choices for the colleges.I had given this college the first priority after SGSITS College and DAVV College because I have hard so many positive things about my college. And finally I got admission in Medicaps University.I have chosen the course BE(CS) because I have a good interest in spending time with the computers.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is not much focus on the Practical Learning in Medicaps. There is a need to improve it.However, there is a good command over Theoretical Teaching.

Internships Opportunities

The college do not provide internships. Students have to do the internships by their own

Placement Experience

Thr placements are good in Mediacps University. But there is a need to improve more

College Events

So many events take place in Mediacaps Unoversity.Moonstone is the annual cultural fest which lasts 3 days.It is the biggest event of our college. Dandiya Nights of our college is fanous in the whole city.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee Structure is OK. It is affordatableby me.However, the fine taking sytem is the worst in Medicaps University.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college provides Scholarship to the SC and ST category students by filling the forms for that

Campus Life

3.5

Various extracurricular activities take place in our college.Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Chess, Volley ball, Basket ball etc. tournaments usually take place.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility us also average.Three students share a single room.

Alumni/Alumna

My interaction with alumni is OK. Alumni contributes in the development of the college.

Exam Structure

I feel tired at the end of the day. There is a need to reduce the lecture time. Also, mid semester exam papers are held twice a day.Students feel very tired and sleepy after the 1st paper and do not have the capability to give the 2nd paper on the same day

Faculty

The Faculties are average in Medicaps University. However, few excellent and ecperienced faculties are also there in my college.

Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

Honest review on Academics and Campus Life in Medicaps University

I was also selected in vit bhopal but due to some personal reasons I was not able to take it . But I think medicaps is a better option than vit vellore as the location is well connected to the main city and proximity to majority of facilities which is not available in vit. Also as a day scholar it was easy to reach here because of good bus facility by university. Admission process is very simple in MU, you can apply directly by visiting the campus admission cell and completing some formalities. The selection criteria is simple and can get computer science easily if you have 75% or above in boards. There is no as such strict counselling process to get admission . You can also appear in MUSAT exam to get admission but I didn't appear in it....Read More
