Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

I chose a diploma in Pharmacy course because I want to become a Pharmacist. there are approximately 60 seats available in this course, but in some special cases, this might vary up to 5 seats. The teachers are very well qualified. The method of teaching is appreciable. The course curriculum is all about medical science. There are 3 MSTs conducted out of which the best 2 are selected for internal assessment and 1 final paper is conducted.

Fees and Financial Aid

The student of the SC/ST category of Punjab shall pay only 1133 rs at the time of admission rest of the amount fee is collected through the DR. BR Ambedkar Scholarship Scheme for post-matric scholarships for sc students of Punjab. No tuition fee for category-reserved students. For General students fees is 18700 rs yearly including tuition fees of 11000 rs. So it is not costly to study there.

Campus Life

4

There are many clubs like NCC,NSS, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Red Ribbon Club, Yoga, Engineers Embyro Clud , Save Earth Club, Inter-Woven strengths, Dayanand Chetna Manch. Aesthatically designee building speard over vast area with serene enviornment, lush green lawns and beautifully decorated flower beds. Classrooms are spacious ,airy, well ventilated ands well furnished lecture halls with modren teaching aids.Well stocked and well-furnished library with over 45,000 books and subscribing to 100 journals and magazines besides leading news papers. Open-air theatre for yogas, mock drills, etc. Auditorium cum multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 1000. Availability of large ground for outdoor games as well as indoor facilities oo are available for Chess table tennis caroms etc. all things are good but the campus infrastructure is very old because this is a very old college.

Admission

The admission process was completely offline in physical mode. In this college diplomatic Courses are available Like a diploma in Computer Science, a Civil engineering Diploma in Pharmacy, ITI courses, etc. engineering diplomas are of 3 years, and a diploma in pharmacy is of 2 years. Applicants can go through college websites for admission processes or registration prior to these. First of all, go to the college office and ask for the registration form they will ask about your category and according you have to fill the form for registration and pay a fee for the same and deposit it there. Then when the counseling process is going on they will let you know that you have got a seat. Then you have to submit the required document and pay the fee for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

D-Pharmacy is one of the best options after the 12th standard because after completion of this course you will gain the knowledge of the medicines and can open your own pharmacy to make your future secure and successful. The total ratio of the students in our class was 60 and the faculty members approx 7-to 8 for each subject. All the faculty members were well educated and professional. They were very disciplined and strict about their subjects. Their teaching method was very polite and friendly. They taught us perfectly so that we grab all the study material very easily and understood it perfectly.
