What Students Say

Likes

I liked the faculty that teching is good

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to go with government exams and prepare for them and that's why there are most similar subjects. Faculty members have huge numbers and the class ratio is about 80 students. The faculty's qualifications are very good and the teaching method is good. It was average to pass the exams

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 28554 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have a BA course and for that same course, I have to pay 28554 /- for 1 year. I didn't know about the scholarship but I think there was no scholarship for general category students. other categories there are very good scholarships

Campus Life

3.5

There was conducting day-to-day small social functions on the college campus. And there was a youth festival in khalsa college Chandigarh for 3 days. That is very informative. There are sports activities also and playing games

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There were AC rooms provided to us and almiras to protect our things with lock. There is very good food that we eat in our mess every day. The registration process for a hostel is very clear. Affordability is also good

Hostel Fee: INR 136000 per year

Admission

I have a BA Course in ggdsd college Chandigarh and for this course, there were no entrance exams. On the college's official website, there was all the information like frrs and application dates. No improvement is required for the admission process

The Best Life of PGGC-11

Likes

The Theatre Club of the college is the best and has won several 1st prizes in National Level of Youth Festival.
Overall college environment is clean & green.
Faculty is highly qualified and respected.

Dislikes

Once you enter the college, you are not allowed to leave the campus before 12pm.
College Infrastructure is not that much developed due to being very old.
Lecture timings are very much and they last upto 4pm.

Placement Experience:

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

Awesome College & It's Chang My Life

Placement Experience:

If you choose the good course and score good marks then you definitely get placement in the good company. For example, if 10 students pass out and 6-7 will get good placement in the company.

My goal was to take admission in this college only and never thought of anything else and I was successful in doing so. The cutoff for my course i.e. BCom was around 96% this year. I scored 96.2% in 12th grade and during the admission process my merit became 104.2% because they gave 8% addition for Maths subject...Read More

You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm. I think the admission process does not need any type of improvement....Read More
