Likes

Efforts made by the faculties for our betterment.
Hostel for 1st year, which is well maintained.
Alumni Base is very large which is a good thing to get placement.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is too old, buildings have cracks on them.
Transport facility is not so good here in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

So I chose the electronics branch because I want to go for Satellite and transmission work as a career in the future. ECE branch provides u with many other opportunities too like circuit designing, research, govt jobs etc. For a batch of 80 students, there are 10-12 faculties dedicated to teaching. Faculties are highly qualified with more than just experience almost everyone is a PhD degree holder. Here, passing Semester exams is not very difficult. You just have to stay aware of the important topics the teacher gives and should start prepping for exams a week before.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internships are available from 3rd year of graduation. Companies provide a stipend of 10k - 60k / Year to the students. Companies like Bajaj, Exxon, and Amazon provide internship opportunities. If you want to apply on your own for some other companies, u can go for that also.

Placement Experience

One is eligible for placements from 3rd year. Companies like Exxon, Flipkart, amazon, TCS, Paytm, Samsung etc come here every year. The highest package till now has been 60 LPA( CSE), while the lowest has been 3LPA till now. Around 90-92% of students get places every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is a little high in this college because technical education needs better labs, workshops, seminars, industrial tours etc. Fee for 1st year- 135000 From 2nd year onwards- 127500. One can get a scholarship based on their performance in college exams. Also, scholarships like Up Gov, Siemens, Reliance, and EWS are also provided here.

Campus Life

Campus life is really good as the campus is covered by a lot of trees, which keeps the environment pure. Also, the campus is very hygienic and in the evening lightning adds more glitter to the beauty of this college. Apart from Annual Fests, regular events for talent hunt and skill improvement also happen which keeps students engaged in personality development. Diff clubs are here like Gruv(dance), Callidus(literature) etc.

Admission

To get into this college, you must have secured 75% marks in your intermediate examination. You must have appeared in the JEE MAIN examination. You can find the application form on the website of this college. The application fee is 1500.

Likes

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

Girls to boys ratio is very less as compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

Likes

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

I would like to inform uh that electronic and communication is a very good trade to choose. So many carreer opportunities if you will go in in industrial area, or in government sector. Make some connections with ur seniors others it is tough to enter in industry for freshers.

apart from this college i also applied for nits , but i didnt not take admission in them since i wasnt getting a technical branch . i paid the fee for MMMUT gorakhpur for CSE branch , though it is also a great college but since that was my hometown i didnt opt that and also due to the hype that most people create of hbtu , i came here . for admission in hbtu kanpur you need to qualify jee mains exams with a good percentile to get technical branch , to just enter in the college . you can get any lower branch in 4 lac rank...Read More

Eligibility of course decided on behalf of your jee mains score and category. After the exam of jee mains the HBTU counseling portal is opened for students where they can apply and fill their desired branches and on basis of your result college faculty alloys you the branch.
