Remarks

Overall it is a good choice for MIT main campus and the better choice than other colleges in Pune. Also now it is an autonomous college so the overall curriculum and style of teaching improved in a drastic way. Management is somewhat more focused on making money like other private ownership but still, it takes care of students more than any other institute. Overall if you are determined to make your career In engineering and get this college for the same there is no any reason. For denial. You can confidently come here and pursue your dreams and engineering career here without any hurdle.

Entrance Preview

In 2014 I had appeared for my boards and also the first time for JEE exam. Although it was my first attempt at day schooling still my JEE marks were not so good as I scored 79 marks in total. MIT was a known name for me since class VIII due to robocon competition organized by MIT college and Doordarshan. Somehow I was able to manage a seat in its second branch which is MIT AOE. E&Tc was my choice as among all the other options I was more comfortable with E&tc only.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As my batch was under the curriculum designed by the UNIVERSITY OF PUNE. So it was just like typical Indian engineering syllabus. Although Pune University syllabus is far better than the syllabus of other engineering universities still it was far lagging behind current industrial technology. But the labs provided by the college was so good and you can get all the amenities there to pursue your own research work apart from the syllabus. Also, college is now autonomous so they have changed the entire syllabus and making it more industry-specific.

Internships Opportunities

As per the previous curriculum of SPPU internship more than 15 days was not possible as there is very less vacation in university. Mostly those internships were managed by a student on their own level. And if they were provided by college they were mostly unpaid. But now as the government made 3 internships compulsory and college is autonomous they are providing ample amount if internship opportunity both paid and unpaid.

Placement Experience

4

Best in Pune and best in most of the private colleges of India. If you maintain the eligibility criteria have good communication skills with some technical knowledge you will be surely placed. Also, the overall package offered by the companies are far better than many other unnamed private colleges. P.S:- Placement process is centralized and brand MIT works here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The overall fee structure was neither too expensive nor two feasible. It was average as for my batch without any concession it cost around 1,35,000/- a year apart from the book and other personal expenses. The amount holds all the charges inclusive like examination fee etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The various scheme by the Maharashtra government is there for the only student from Maharashtra. Apart from that many companies like Cognizant, Microsoft comes with their scholarship program. Also, college gives full fee waiver to the department toppers every year.

Hostel Facilities

3

Ah !! Here it comes the college hostel is way too much expensive and not at all recommend. Although they give all the facilities and most important best in class cleanliness but still 90000/- bucks for a room shared by two is alandi is very much expensive. Although you can easily find other private hostel and flats nearby in a range between 21000/- to 70000/-. Per annum. Similar to the case of the mess the college canteen is good only for snacks and not for mess food but you can find good mess options available nearby in the range 2000-2400/- per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Ah!! It depends upon your personal relationship and behavior. Except some cases college was not so much interested in contacting alumnus for any kind of help or anything else. But yes if you have good terms with them they are surely supportive.

Exam Structure

Frankly, the schedule for first two years was hectic most of the day you have college from 8 to 5. In the third year, you get some relaxation and some more in the final year. The examination structure was as per SPPU norms also practical exams are taken very seriously.

Admission

The admission process was through JEE. I have to go through CET counseling in AISSMS Pune and after document verification we have to fill our choice of college and than college and department were allocated as per the cutoff marks. Nowadays with JEE MHCET marks and college own entrance test can also considered as college is now autonomous.

Faculty

3.5

Although other departments of the college have comparatively very good faculties. But talking about a department of E&tc it always lags a team of good faculties. Some of them are well qualified and experienced and always do Justice with their job. But some of them are useless and only interested in politics and harassment of the students. These kind of fellow are completely hopeless and frustrated and they just pour their frustration on you in different ways. But the good thing is that the administration changed very positively after autonomy and some of them are now fired and some are waiting for their termination. I hope that next batch will surely get good professors like other departments.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
