UV Patel College of Engineering Mehsana, BE/B.Tech

Reviewed on Nov 25, 2017

Remarks

Every college has some good and bad points,As a good point education and placement opportunities are nice but fees are little more.

Entrance Preview

I have given JEE entrance exam..and I took admission via ACPC. I got 70 marks in JEE and 70% in Board exam. There are also available seats of management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently, I'm doing B.tech in computer engineering and the curriculum is really great plus you have to do only internship/project work in 8th sem.so you will get to know about working in companies.

Internships Opportunities

You have both choice, they also help to find internship and you can also find yourself. For stipend amount ,it depends upon the company you choose!

Placement Experience

Placement is good for every branch and best especially for Computer/IT branch. For the latest placement info you can refer college's official website.

College Events

There are so many events held in our college every year such as Satrang,Youth Festival,Technical events etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I was entered in year 2016 and our fee is almost 94000/year including exam fees. They increase fees every year! But I got more than 80 percentile in 12th science so I get 50% fees from Gujarat government every year(I'm from general category having less income).

Fees and Financial Aid

If you get 1st,2nd or 3rd rank in your branch in your sem, then for 1st rank they provide 50% tuition fees for 2nd rank around 25% and some amount for 3rd rank

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many extra curricular activities as GVM , NSS etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is also nice, some of my friends live in hostel and the food providing there is nice.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnis are very helpful and nice to us.. They are always to help their juniors and they give valuable advice to us.

Exam Structure

There is semester system so each semester have their external exam and two internal exams per semester.

Faculty

Well... some faculties are having master degree in their field some have done PhD. And There are some faculties from IITS and NITS in every branch ,so I think they are well qualified and they really teach well.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

It has a strong international relations program which would be perfect for me since I have attended a diverse international school. I noticed all these things when I visited. Given University’s notable reputation and history, I would be excited by the opportunity to attend such a strong and knowledgeable institution....Read More
