Clean and fresh atmosphere for students.

Dislikes

Promotion of unnecessary courses which are not at all related to our field.
Frequently no classes conducted. (Almost everyday)
Overcharging for every course and every other basic amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The field of law in business is very promising and rewarding which made me choose this course. Student to teachers ratio is a bit disproportionate. Number of teachers should be increased. The faculty members seem experienced and everyone's teaching style is different so it's difficult to comment on their skills though, some of our teacher's are outstanding in their job. Semester exams are conducted timely as per university guidelines. The standard of papers is quite decent challeging the student's skills and learning.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 420000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing an integrated course of 5 years and total fees of it is 4,20,000. I am a 3rd semester student and I have not any internship oppurtuinities yet. Students get internship oppurtunities from 2nd Year.

Campus Life

The name of our Annual fest is Kingstoxication. It is conducted every year in or around february. The fests are massive and vibrant. The library is well equipped with relevant books for our academic studies. The classrooms are not extraordinary but okay.

Admission

Candidate must be 12th pass and must score atleast 45% marks to be eligible for admission. Candidate does not need to give an entrance test to get an admission. Application forms are availabe at Kingston Law College's official website: https://klccal.edu.in or, one can visit the college in person to collect the form. The application fee will be one thousand rupees only.

Remarks:

There are no negetive comments except timely exams. The exams taken on semester basis is usually late by 2-3 months and the result given is also very late due to which the students faces some problems.

Placement Experience:

The college doesnt provide any internship from its side nor does it provide any good placement. However about 50% of the students get placed by applying in off campus places. The teachers help us find good law firms for internships though.

Admission:

I applied for the entrance exam conducted by the college itself. The exam was conducted in the college premises in offline mode in may. The criteria of selection was 50% on basis of 12th standard results and 50% according to the performance in the entrance exam. The merit list was put up around the last week of may. I got my name there and applied for seeking admission and completed the further procedures.

I appeared for the entrance test conducted by the university of Calcutta which was conducted in tur 1st week of may. The exam was conducted in an offline mode. When the results were out and the cutoff was declared, I found that I had cleared the cutoff. Then I put my form for counseling and out of the colleges available I chose this college for my further studies.

Good in education and also fun. Renowned. Inexpensive. Experienced teachers. Lots of extracurricular activities. Co-operative staff. No ragging. The campus is close to nature. Infrastructure is old and in poor condition.
