Likes

There is no spoon feeding like education. We also need to put our effort to gather the notes. It will help you a lot to grow your self.
The social life is very good and the nature of people and faculty was very friendly.
In laboratory we need to work and in all the experiments. It's gives you more practical knowledge.

Dislikes

For placement need to combine with PEC, Puducherry students.
The aminities in the hostel was very less.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty member are very friendly, they will complete the portion with in the time period. Also conduct the tests frequently. Number of faculty for every year would be 6 or 7 for 68 students in average. I am interested in ECE.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

From 7th Semester students are available for placement. TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra, DXC Technologies, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest pacake is 500000 per annum. I have place in DXC Technologies through placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very less when compared to other colleges. Since your joined the college through CENTAC based on your mark, government would pay half the amount of your fees. In addition casete related scholarship also avalilable there based on government applied category.

Campus Life

The social life is very good. They will conduct symposium, yearly fest it makes all department student to become closer. Library would have good number of books. Class rooms are spacious and bright. But the thing is it's the village kind of arear

Hostel Facilities

In hostel we have electricity, water facility, cot would be available. All other things we need to take care. Quality of food is very homely. Registration process is very easy for hostel accomodation.

Hostel Fee: INR 8000 per year

Admission

Admission to the first year of the B.tech programme is centralized and the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC),a division of the Puducherry. Every year in April or May the CENTAC will publish information about application. The qualifying exam scores in mathematics, physics and chemistry are considered for engineering council.

Likes

Hostel students say they get good quality food with affordable fee
Few teachers who are really cared about the students and their career

Dislikes

College buses are not in proper condition. Very poor maintenance
Many faculties are very lethargic and they do not complete the syllabus on time
Day by day placement sector is becoming poor. Students are not getting proper placements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year 6th semester itself but the college does not bring any company for placement on time. 5 years back standard companies lkke tsc, hcl, cts etc used to come. But nowaday it is very rare. Lowest package is 2 lpa and highest package is 6 lpa. Average is 4 lpa. Very least students get placed. Try off campus. Do not believe the college

An overview of NITPY

Likes

Good faculty who encourage hands on learning and elaborate practical aspects of engineering in detail
A fully committed group of students (especially seniors) who strive to make the college better by taking many initiatives.
Ragging free campus, very friendly seniors

Dislikes

Construction work still underway, causing minor disturbances
Connectivity issue with main cities as the location is not exactly in Puducherry main city

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements starting from 6th semester onwards Many famous comapnies like Nvidia, Samsung, ABB, Hitachi, Goldman Sachs, Ford, BHEL, BEL, Tata, L&T etc visit the campus The higest package overall is 16 LPA, average is 11LPA More than 75% of the students sitting for placements get placed My plans after degree not decided yet

Remarks:

College management is awerage a little improvement needed in infrastructure and required more place for parking.and need a good ground for sports activity. And should include some more cultural programs.they have to provide some more industrial exposure and internships to students.

About my College

Remarks:

They reduced the tution fee of our College and they brought lot of external certified course classes based on their courses. The negative remark was the infrastructure of our ground is reduced due to build of new building.

The canteen facility has to be improved in my college, There is only one canteen for the three hundred students, So management has to take immediate steps to solve this issue.

Entrance Preview:

Pondicherry entrance exam, admission was through CENTAC which is of Pondicherry government, we can select seats in counselling easily once you score nearly 60 to 70 percent marks.
