Likes

College life is perfect with good friends around and a good social life.
The campus environment is so peaceful that one feels soulful in the campus
The faculty is very supportive of every good initiative by the students

Dislikes

Campus timing only avails you to stay back until 4;30 in the evening
There should be more drinking water purifier for the students

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum for the BA English course is much better than other universities, it is more advanced it helps with further entrance exams like IIT and CUET much more easier. The course is more focused on future academic pursuits and it helps you prepare for it. Only improvements that can be made is in providing text book from the college itself.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For each year one has to pay a fixed amount as semester fee . It varies from 1000-1600. It is much less for general or SC ST students. There are multiple scholarships availed in the campus such as e grant.

Campus Life

The annual festival of our campus is called The Ivano fest . It is one of the biggest campus fest in Thiruvananthapuram. There are a lot of communities like IEDC , NSS , NCC and each conduct several fest and also each department of college conducts fest. Social life in the college is apt for a student for an academically pursuing student.

Hostel Facilities

Each student has a single room for men and women's hostel has sharing rooms. Room rent goes upto 7000 per month. Quality of the food is very good and there is no issue with meal or the menu. Registration process for the hostel also depends upon your marks of previous academic one.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course is 10th and 12th grade pass. One can find the application form through applying it online on the college website. Application fee and dates such details will be provided on the college website. The timing of exams is good. There is no hectic time table for the examination. Admission procedures also has a personal interview for each and every student along with the parents or respective in charge.

A practical choice with quality education

Likes

Firstly i likes the campus its very beautiful and naturally buided
Second i love the central library of our college its amazing.
Third i like the infrastructure of our college its perfectly balanced.

Dislikes

I didn’t like the restroom of our college its good not perfect one.
Second I didn’t like the some classroom its very old model.
Third I didn’t like the bathroom structure its not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculam as moderatly relevent and fairly good .which is one of the main reason i choose this course . And i am very passionate about history teaching method and i want to become a history teacher these was the main reasons i choose the course.

the university is eco friendly and supports sustainable development and has better infrastructure and high technological facilities and equipments
the university has well qualified facility and experienced staffs which is very good for the peers
the university has lots of solar panel which is very important to maintain sustainable development it also saves electricity

Dislikes

as well it is a developing university there are lot of construction works taking place around so the sound of these works are bit noisy
the transportation facility in the university for hostel students are not working properly and staffs who drive the buggies does not pick up the students until they ask them to
as the university is placed in a hill top it is difficult for most of the students to reach here and also it is a rural area so it has its own limits

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Actually this course is a better choiche for those who wants to be a teacher in English. Because it gives us dual degrees which normally takes a time period of 6 to 7 years to complete. So it is really good course

Likes

My college has a tradition of 103 years of legacy
The campus is very clean and tidy and provide a green scenery
The building in the old model is the most beautiful.

Dislikes

Being an old building, there is no technological development
Seminar halls are not available in all departments.
Hostel time restriction has been placed. That is why it is difficult to be a student

Placement Experience:

The college placement and career guidance cell is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resourses to empower students in making informed career decisions, bridging gap between education and employment opportunities. With a strong network of industry connection, the actively facilitates internship, job placement and workshop. Sheethal mam is incharge of placement cell. Many job drives and companies were corporate with college and students. The average package is 25000 for undergraduate students.

I visited more organisations and human centres such as "Shanti Bavanam". And "Wecare". This college gives so many placements to students in so many companies the number of students getting placements is more than 85 percentage

Admission:

This university is entirely based on art and culture for getting admission here I gave an aptitude test and then interview. Total marks for both was 75 50 for test and 25 for interview.. questions were basic if we used your analysis power.

Entrance Preview:

Actually in my college there is no entrance exam in my course, I chose this course (BA economics) because of my parents advice and I know how this course is important in the future I got admission on the merits basis. I got an admission card from the college. So there is no other procedures, admission based on plus two marks.
