What Students Say

Likes

The thing I liked the most about gtu is the quality of exam paper they make
The campus is open for all the students to visit.
The faculties are very much supportive in curriculum as well as in other activities.

Dislikes

Sports activities is less compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

The course which I have selected is very much needy in today's life but the curriculum and teaching methods dont go in hand and in hand .I feel that they are not providing proper real world scenario and instead focusing only on theory portion.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships opportunities are quite good . Big companies also give chance to students to enroll ex amazon, flipkart , etc.The stipend provided by the companies is not known by me . Many interships opportunities are available

Fees and Financial Aid

One thing which is the best part is the very less amount of fees in GTU colleges . And the scholarship they provide us is also vey helpful .the job opportunities are very high in this colleges.mysy scholarship provides 5000 rupees for books and 12000 rupees for hostel

Campus Life

3.5

Our colleges campus is too big with different departments and different sports ground.the library is also too good . But our labs and workshops are not that much good . There are so many clubs working in different departments and cultural and technical fests also took place .

Admission

Eligibility of the course is nowadays very high and the cutoffs for this field are going high day by day.All the admission procedure is online and there are 3 to 4 rounds . No entrance exam is there. And the reservation facility is not availed by general students

Faculty

2.5

The faculty members are sometimes supportive and encouraging but on the other hand, sometimes they dont even pay attention properly during lecture hours or in paper checking. But some faculty are really nice and interactive.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
