What Students Say

Likes

The curriculum & books are standard what are required for engineering students
College location is in the center of the city
You can get time for your side hustle in the college

Dislikes

There is lack of teachers in departments, many time guest faculty teaches us
Infrastructure feels a bit old, it can be improved
Administration of college is very bad to say the least

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is pretty standard, the syllabus and topics are such that are required for any engineering student. But mind you, it the same old curriculum that's dragging from years only slight changes here and there.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Officially internship are to be done in the summer break that happens after 3rd year. Some companies come for internship ls while other branch TRP has to arrange after contacting the specific company. Most of the internships are unpaid. Only a few companies pay stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements are average in this college. One important note to remember is that FAANG companies do not come here for oncampus placement. Still you can expect 6 lakh CTC on average. Most of the students get placed, just give your best at everything.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in my opinion is average or reasonable, not very high like some private engineering colleges. You can pay fees online or offline in bank. You can apply for scholarship provided by state government, in that you can expect approximately 50k rupees.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is decent. The college is located right in the centre of the city, so location wise its a big plus. The library is there (fully air conditioned) and almost all books related to course are available. Lot of clubs are there, you can be a part in which your interest lies.

Admission

To take admission you have to give JEE MAINS. Based on JEE MAINS All India Rank you will get admission is this college. This college conducts its own counseling so you can check all the information related to it on the HBTU website.

Faculty

Quality of teachers is just average. Many departments lack teachers so guest faculty are recruited. Very few teachers are good that make you genuinely attend there class. In this regard college has a scope of improvement.

If you're in lucknow, Look no further.

Likes

The looks of the campus are stunning. Open fields and everything
Events are hosted weekly, allowing everyone to participate and host
Extracurricular activities are well respected

Dislikes

In a secluded area of Lucknow. Hostel recommended

Placement Experience:

Our Placement packages are pretty low online. It's primarily because every course, High tier, Low tier gets an on campus placement. Computer science has a very good placement ratio. People who don't get placements ussually are the ones who didn't even apply. Around id say 80 percent people get placements and my plans are to look off campus.

My Experience at Sanskriti University: Campus Life, Academics and Opportunities

Likes

The course offers a good foundation in computer science and AI, with opportunities to improve technical skills.
Campus life provides opportunities to make friends, interact with classmates, and develop communication skills.

Dislikes

More practical sessions, live projects, and industry-oriented training are needed to improve student skills.
Placement preparation, internship opportunities, and career guidance could be improved for better job prospects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose CSE (AI & ML) because of my interest in artificial intelligence and computer science. The curriculum provides basic technical knowledge for higher studies and career opportunities. More practical sessions, real-world projects, internships, and interactive teaching would improve learning. Internal assessments and semester exams require regular preparation, and difficulty varies by subject.

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

What I heard before about the placement is totally different from what it is. I mean after spending more than 6lakh the average package of btech is around 4-5 LPA and the ratio is like 15-20% only. No big MNCs like Amazon Flipkart Deloitte or any other comes here.

Engineering: Dream and Reality

# My HBTU Engineering Admission Story Joining HBTU was not first choice but compromise choice. Initially tried for IIT Kanpur, but low JEE rank block my entry. IIIT Allahabad entrance exam also not go well - scored less in mathematics section. My dream was top engineering college but reality hit different. ## Comparison Parameters - Fees: HBTU cheaper than private engineering colleges - Placement: Around 70-80% placement rate - Infrastructure: Better than local private colleges, not match IIT standard - Faculty: Mix of experienced and young teachers - Location: Kanpur industrial area good for internship opportunities ## Admission Process Drama - Through UPTU/AKTU counseling - Required documents: - JEE/UPTU rank card - Class 12th marksheet - Domicile certificate - Character certificate - Counseling process online and offline - Seat allocation based on rank and preference - Total admission time: Around 15-20 days - Registration fee: ?5000-?10000 ## Why Selected HBTU - Government college tag - Decent reputation in local engineering circle - Affordable education - Close to home - Civil engineering branch available Not perfect college, but practical solution when dream colleges reject. Learning to make best of what available!...Read More

After the exam of jee mains the HBTU counseling portal is opened for students where they can apply and fill their desired branches and on basis of your result college faculty alloys you the branch. And you can also apply in spot counseling. The application fees is based on your category. Reservation students can get good course like IT and computer science and engineering at 90 percentile.
