Likes
- The director is the first and most important thing about the college. Such a director cannot be found elsewhere, where you can talk and entertain whenever he is available till anytime
- The faculties are also very friendly, not just simply friendly. They are really close to you even you say all your secrets to them
- Everything including gym, pool, turf, unlimited wifi, transportation is available anytime.
Dislikes
- Although everything is available, there is lack of space inside the campus. All the infrastructures are near and feels congested.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the college is autonomous under Calicut University, it has to follow certain syllabus of the University which is old and outdated. But the syllabus made by the college and faculty are up to date and covers what the industry expects from us.
Internships Opportunities
Good internships with fair stipends are given by the college itself. Companies like ITC, Landmark, Decathlon, Aravind fashions and so on, have taken students for internship. This helps students to get an overview of the industry they wish to work and can get a experience in that particular field
Placement Experience
A student can begin his placement from 3rd semester onwards. Lots of companies are brought by the placement cell of the college. The highest package brought to our seniors was 22 Lakh. Most of the students have achieved placements with average of 5 Lakh salary. Also good and multi national companies have also come like ITC, Varun beverages, infoedge etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for the upcoming batch is 8 lakh which includes everything, that is your hostel, tuition, canteen, transportation and all other fees to be paid. You don't have to pay an extra penny to the college. And for other expenses college pays half and you have to talk your half only if you are interested to participate (like being in clubs, Management fest, etc)
Campus Life
This is a campus where if you wish to grow you can thrive your skills and knowledge in various aspects. The campus and the faculties teach us not only the textbook knowledge but also the morals which is to be expected from an mba graduate. Also the campus life is different from other campuses. Here lead life is not at all boring. The days goes very fast here.
Hostel Facilities
A neat and nice hostel is provided which is cleaned daily and you get 24 hours maintenance. Also heat water and wifi is also accessible at any time. Water purifiers and coolers are set everywhere needed and power will not be gone for more than 20 seconds
Admission
The admission process is mainly based on the ULead conducted for admission. Even though you have to be qualified in any of the Management Aptitude Tests like Kmat, Cmat, but more thane marks your skill and your energy is considered, which is tested through ULead. ULead is the admission process that takes place which includes a series of rounds to test your skill in various aspects and areas
Faculty
Most of the faculties are highly qualified, they have completed their doctorate. And the rest are either pursuing or about to complete. The faculties focuses more on experiential knowledge than book knowledge. They teach us through the methods of practicals and also different case studies are also given to assess our decision making and thinking skill which helps them to increase these.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a type of group discussion and also a kind of interview. But written test was not there because one must eligible in any of the Management Aptitude Tests to take admission in college. So another written test was useless and is not there. And moreover here they focus more your other skills than your scores
