RCBS Admission Dates 2027

RCBS admissions are entirely managed by the institute. There is no state counselling or KMAT Kerala seat-allotment route for RCBS. All seats are filled through RCBS’s own GD-PI process. The 2026-28 batch admissions concluded in May 2026. The next cycle opens when CAT 2026 results are released in December 2026.

RCBS Courses and Fees

RCBS offers four postgraduate and doctoral management programmes. All taught programmes are full-time and two years in duration. The MBA is Mahatma Gandhi University affiliated. PGDM is EFMD and ACBSP accredited and AIU-recognised as MBA-equivalent.

The PGDM and MA HRM fees of INR 60,000 reflect the subsidised fee structure under the CMI congregation. RCBS explicitly states no capitation or donation is accepted. Verify the latest fee at rcbs.rajagiri.edu.

RCBS Admission Process

RCBS runs a fully self-managed admission process. No state quota or KEA seat allocation applies to RCBS seats.

MBA Admission

Eligibility requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from any university recognised by Mahatma Gandhi University. SC/ST candidates need only a pass. Final-year graduation students may apply provisionally.

The selection process follows these stages:

• Apply at rcbs.rajagiri.edu/admissions with a valid entrance exam score
• Accepted exams: CAT, KMAT Kerala, XAT, CMAT, or MAT (any one is sufficient)
• CAT minimum cutoff: 50 percentile
• Shortlisted candidates attend Group Discussion at RCBS campus, Kakkanad, Kochi
• Personal Interview conducted online or in-person
• Final selection based on exam score, GD, PI, and academic record

PGDM and MA HRM Admission

PGDM eligibility requires 50% in any approved degree or a pass in any Master’s programme. MA HRM eligibility is 55% for Science/Technology graduates and 50% for other disciplines. Both programmes follow the same entrance exam and GD-PI process as MBA. Applications open alongside the MBA window in December (tentative for 2027-29 batch).

FPM (Doctoral) Admission

RCBS Placements

In the 2025 placement season, RCBS achieved a placement rate of over 95%, with 204 students placed out of 215. The highest package was INR 16.05 LPA and the median package was INR 7 LPA, as per NIRF 2025 reported data.

MBA graduates typically move into finance, marketing, and operations roles. MA HRM graduates are placed in HR and people analytics roles across Bangalore and Kochi-based companies. The AACSB accreditation broadens RCBS’s recruiter access to multinational firms.

RCBS Scholarships

RCBS offers an institutional scholarship programme for meritorious students and special scholarships to encourage geographic diversity from outside Kerala. SC/ST students benefit from relaxed eligibility criteria with no minimum percentage requirement for admission. RCBS Campus and Infrastructure

RCBS is located at Rajagiri Valley, Kakkanad, Kochi, on a lush 384-acre shared campus housing the Rajagiri Group of institutions. The campus is accessible from the Seaport-Airport Road and is 27 km from Cochin International Airport.

Campus facilities include air-conditioned classrooms, a central library, seminar halls, and a dedicated management block. The 384-acre campus accommodates hostels for men and women, a health club, sports grounds, and a horse riding academy. RCBS vs SCMS Cochin School of Business vs Rajagiri Business School

Aspirants choosing between Kochi-area B-schools for MBA typically compare RCBS with SCMS Cochin School of Business (CSB) and Rajagiri Business School (RBS). All three are Kochi-based, AICTE-regulated management schools with similar applicant pools from CAT and KMAT Kerala.

RCBS and RBS share the Rajagiri Valley campus but are distinct institutions with separate admission processes. RCBS leads on EFMD accreditation for PGDM. RBS has a published NIRF Management rank.
