What Students Say

Likes

Good availability of computer labs and equipment needed for practical knowledge.
The library here is good because you will get all kinds of books here, even novels.
The campus of our collage was 58 acres that good area.

Dislikes

Some students in my class are bad and they disturb the environment of class sometimes.
Less average package of our college and low numbers of companies visit.
Faculty time teaching is very long approx 1 hour per class.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is great as they organise it well seeing all the real world experience and real world learning of the application or projects we do study. There are not much improvement required as they teach only the necessary things essential for the future. Syllabus is completed on time and exams becomes easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is a crucial aspect of any course in my college fee is quite better not so high to take this course in my college you will have to pay about 5-6 lacs upto graduation and that kind of fee is definitely very high.

Campus Life

Various cultural and technical functions are conducted every year . A 2-3 day function Swaranjali is conducted every year as an annual function. Hackathons are also conducted for competitive programing. There are more than 50k+ books are present in Libray. Free internet connection is also provided in the library . Various grounds including cricket , basketball , badminton, swimming pool etc. are also present for physical activities.

Admission

You have 70+ percentage in 12th class and then you have to take jee mains exam . The percentile of jee mains and 12th percentage will decide what is going to be your college and branch if you have 50+ percentile in jee mains then there is good chance to get an addmission in this college .

The faculty in our college is well qualified and some faculty is very experience in their respective subjects. The faculty -to-student ratio in our college is average. The faculty is very supportive and interactive with the students.Overall the faculties of the IPS ACADEMY are well qualified and much experience about there filed , they provide the appropriate knowledge that is required for the students. They help us in all problems related to course.

i like the building of my colleges because they look like a

I choose the computer CSE because computer science engineering because in this generation this is the era of computers where everything is operating by using the computer and I suggest the areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching method is to change the TNP faculties because they did not teach us very well

I really liked the college washrooms in my clg
I really liked classes and its interior.
I really like facultys my classes subject teacher .

Dislikes

I dont like sports in my college. I dont like it.
I dont like my friends because they always disturb me.
I dont like if water is not coming in the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement is comparatively good as i think and the thing i see. They have median package of 4 to 5 lpa. If my on-campus placement do not have then the teaching will help me yo get placement in off campus.

Faculty members are very supportive , opportunity for research, internships
Regular placement help in every year nurturing according to the year planning for students
College provides multiple courses subscriptions for free

Dislikes

Small campus no own sports ground for football and cricket we have to share it with other campus
Canteen can be improved the sitting area and new options in menu
Still very few systems of labs are not working like 1/10

Placement Experience:

Our College works very hard for placement like they initiate new programmes every year for the betterment of the batch so that they can improve their placement every year. They have launched launched D 99 batch P 30 batch arrange so many seminars College to corporate training placement, training company visits and everything the placement is our college works very hard for the students to get them placed anyhow with a very good package.

The campus is lush green AQI is very low.
Good academic content. Most teachers are helpful.
If you are motivated profs are motivated to work with you.

Dislikes

The campus is isolated form the main city.
Hostel timing are early and strict. Hostel closes around 8:30
Some time classes slot booking are not suitable.

Placement Experience:

Placement vary according to the market in the industry. Though oppertunities are provided extending student courses, so students do get a change to apply multiple job postings. Companies like Flipkart, Blackstone came.

Likes

Faculties are full supportive (except some faculty)
Goverment Hostels are Good becaues of campus area
Oldest College of all over india and first E&TC branch opened in JEC

Dislikes

Zero college life beacuse everyone not get govt. Hostel
Campus distributed because of two way highway
No internship and entrepreneurship opportunity are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is totally outdated syllabus that was not relevant for current or future technologies. No fully functional labs, outdated machines and some machines are not working. There is no regular lab class and if have then you will write the practical file intesd of learning about machines.

Best IIIT in terms of campus life as it has over 150 acres of lush green campus with almost every amenities.
College has been improving its recent cultural status and activities by organizing events like Infotsav- Annual Tech fest. The girls to boys ratio is around 1:5 which is decent.
all faculties are phD holders and highly qualified in their respective domain.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is little bit on a harder side especially grading schemes. Some profs may deliberately give low grades.
not that great alumini network despite being the oldest iiit
semester lasts for only 4 months which may prevent many club events and exploration

Placement Experience:

For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem. For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem. In 2025, All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected). Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa. 214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

There are lot of restrictions so it feels like a school.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for the campus placement. There are many top companies visiting the college and they provide a descent package to the students who are eligible for them. Overall placement of the college is good. The highest package offered was 1.2 crore by Amazon.
