Likes

The college is a very spacious as compared to other colleges
The khalsa college of pharmacy is very best in studies as compared to other colleges
Khalsa college has a historical buildings which seems very good like the old historical fort

Dislikes

Some teachers are not good in teaching..
Fee structure is little high as compared to other colleges
Not providing AC facilities in every class as amritsar city is very high in temperature

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i have studied was B pharmacy as the course i have selected is for the medicine sales I have studied all type of medicine in the college The course help students to pursue the knowledge of all drugs the quality control of drugs during manufacturing of medicine.

Class Size: 10000Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee structure was approximately 50k per semester and the total semesters was 8 Then if we calculate it results 4 lakh which i think it's normal because the course educate us to be a well pharmacist and help us to manufacture or sale medicine accurately in a proper way

Campus Life

The khalsa college is very very good in festivals organisations there were many fests in the college which make students to capable to show there ability to all other students and build there confidence. As a student i also took a part in bhangra competition and win as i love bhangra

Admission

Eligibility of the course was 12th with 55% of marks In pcm or pcb If was a non medical student so it was very easy to take admission The teachers generally ask some questions regarding chem and maths and after that if we give them answers the give me admission

Faculty

The teachers are really very educated and some are phd degree holders . One teacher that was my favourite is dr nitish bhatia but in mid of the college in aprox 2022 they tanfered to other college there teaching schedule was very good they interacted with almost every student in a different way and let us feel as they was our parents

An In-Depth Look at Campus Life and opportunities at Chandigarh University

I think, the campus is being liked by everyone whether its staff member or a student, because the university consists of many blocks or departments and that too are named as A1, A2, A3, A4 & B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 & C1, C2, C3 & D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6,D7,D8
Parks and all are made for the relaxation purpose of the student
Car Parkings are available separately for the students and staff and that also inside the campus which is ambitious.

Dislikes

The semester fees and other expenses is relatively higher as compared to other institutions
Some students find the university’s rule such as strict attendance policies and accurate timings for the classes, quite stringent
Mostly 2 common times, one is in morning nearby 8.50 AM to 9.50 AM and in evening nearby 3.50 PM to 5.00 PM, the rush is like horses and buffaloes! There is so much over crowded & most of the crowd occurs by the Autos, but no one do anything for that

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

Admission:

The eligibility criteria to get into this college is 10+2 pass with Science subjects. Admission is made through Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar followed by counseling process. I applied for the college and then got an admission offer letter directly and then went ahead with the admission procedure.

College is best and the location of the college is also good. But the teachers and the staff should be more creative to run a college. I can give 6 rating out of 10 to the college. It can be better if given more attentiveness

Experience of college life

Remarks:

Good words for the college is that the teaching faculty is very good if I see. Otherwise bad words for this college is that. Half of the classes are so big and students in the class are more than 60 so the teacher can teach properly to them.i would say to divide the students according to their marks like section-wise.

Remarks:

Totally it was good to be a student of here and if I have to give a remark then I will only say that I am now earning 35000 per month in a multinational company. But it's not a matter of how much you are earning its matter of education in which this college is giving its best.
