What Students Say

Likes

First thing I liked is the way of teaching and it is same for everyone
The next thing was the friendly teaching staff members
At last our college servers a decent canteen facility

Dislikes

No things to dislike they make college clean and healthy
Sometimes the students used to cut their classes
There is no more things to dislike in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum looks great in our college. The main thing that is decided to choose this course because the world is now running of new more technologies. They provide a best way to learn about real world applications and better improvements in coure curriculum activities

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Oru college provides a wide range of internship facilities for students studying in our college.More intersting projects and outcomes based on the projects handled by students well and explained in great manner. Each have their particular roles.

Placement Experience

Our college providing a great placement facilities for students.Companies like TCS,omega healthcare, etc serves a best place to work with a overall good package. There are mostly 50 percentage of students getting regular placements. My plan is also to get placed in a well defined company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for one semester includes 16000 including transport facilities and no due fees, per year the average fees for the particular department shows that minimum fees of 32000 per month. The fee structure is same for every semester and it does not change.Even they helping the students by giving scholarships for every semester.

Campus Life

Our college conducts a awareness programs as well as expressing the specific talents of students. The best thing was the NSS programs and most of the students are willing to do some social services. Our college library serves the variety of book resource depending on each other departments. And also providing a best sports and extracurricular activities.

Admission

Comparing to other colleges I choose to study in nearby colleges and also this college has the best transport facilities for students with safety.I did not get rejection from other colleges and my main thinking was to go throught the place which i needed. The admission process is same as the other colleges.BCA and BSC are the courses which are more preferred by students.

Faculty

The faculties in our college servers a friendly relationship with our students and doing a great job by motivating us.The course structure depends on the courses we take. The exam styles are as the same as the other colleges. They provide various schemes by encouraging the students for NSS programs

Other Applied Colleges

Madras Christian College - [MCC] | Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]

Actually I was decided to study by nearby colleges

The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The faculties are very well experienced and there are captains who stay in the campus itself, so if there’s something we need they will be available all the time
The facilitieslike labs, ship in campus, DB tank facilities etc are top notch
The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There’s smart board. Overall everything is really good and also neat and clean

Dislikes

Galley food can improve a little and canteen is comparatively small for such a big campus
They are not conducting intra- college events and inter-college events is very less

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

THE IDEAL COLLEGE LIFE!

Likes

The opportunities to meet new people and interact with a whole new circle of people by Club Activities as there are quite a lot of clubs according to the student's interest.
Many places to showcase our singing and dancing talent once we join the club or take part in any of the department events.
They have multiple labs for a single department so that the students get a lot of hands on training for coding and as well as hardware.

Dislikes

4:3 Ratio of Girls to Boys in my class and i hope it's the same for all the departments as well.
The college timing can go from 8:30 AM to 5:10PM.
The 75% attendance is kind of doable and maintainable to an extent.

Placement Experience:

about 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed afdter the colleg and the ones not placed also gets placed after the college with high network and communication from other contacts within the college, ZOHO Corp does take placements and i am preparing for my CAT exams as i am planning for My highers at IIM, 5th semester is when the students become eligible for the campus placements and the seniors are a good connection who help to get places and get a job after the completion of degree.
