Likes

Environment is to good . There is deveploed society
Labs are very much maintained. Every chemical which are use is available over there

Dislikes

There are open canteens which is not good because there should be sititmg arrangements
Classes are very small with large strength of students

Course Curriculum Overview

As there is so much of hype that is college is too good . Bt it is not tht much good as expected. Classes should be improved . Exam pattern should be chnge little bit so tht students cant face any problem regarding exam

Class Size: 1Course Fees: INR 88690 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am 88690 per year. Tution fees is much as expected. The university who have already passed has to pay less fees than us they are paying around 66,900 per year. There are no scholoarship students studing there

Campus Life

Overall experiecne is too good . There are many events held in the clg like youth fest annual dat freshers convocation and many more There are thousands off books in thr library. Of every feild Sports is also very focused thing in clg

Admission

I applied for ateast two or three colleges one was pu itself second was Chandigarh University and one was lovely proffesion i got confirmed for three of them i dont get fron thr bcz i one it was so far away from me As i didnt get rejected i didnt choose it because it was far away from my house There is entrance test in my college through which stidents get admision from merit list procedure is to apply for test apply form and then fees update

Faculty

Faculaty is good though. They go through the students . As such there is no favortie faculty as i not so familiar with them . Talking about exam in one semester we take 2 exam one is mst and one is final of semster . They tough

SGGS college sector 26 chandigarh ( MSc physics)

Likes

They have a very best faculty . The labs are very big and also the teachers teach us all the time in the labs as our subject is a practical learning subject . The regular seminar help us a lot and boost confidence . The environment is stress-free
The teachers are very polite while explaining anything . The very first day I experienced this . They have a very positive approach towards students and won't say or do anything that would hurt you . It's hard to except that much politeness
The campus is huge and aided with many facilities . Good canteen and also Nescafe is available. We also have a canteen in our physics department floor

Dislikes

The ratio of boys is very much as compared to girls . But still it isn't unsafe .
Many students aren't very much serious here about studies

Placement Experience:

In the beginning of semester you will be asked to join training and placement center . The placements are not that much but yes placements are given . It depends your performance throughout the course . Belonging to MSc physics the placements will be made in the last sem and when and only if you qualify the sem exam you'll be able to join . But according to personal opinion that msc physics won't get that good package and you can get better from government jobs .

Practicals are key elements in this college.
The teachers are very supportive, for fun as well for studies.

Dislikes

The classes and the washroom needs to be maintained
The canteen is not up to the mark, needs upgrade.
Furniture needs to be changed and some positive impact should be added and some activities needs to be added

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course included every practical and theoretical language which is entirely needed to study IT. Its amazing that the staff is so nice and full of knowledge that they help every student with the studies and the topics like java , C# are very important.

The fee structure as they increase it year by year
The behaviour of some faculty as they are biased
No placements at all no one come here for placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in this course after i saw it has benefits for pharmacy field and all the apparatus and instruments in the labs are helpful for further experience in the pharmacy field. Improvements can be made by decreasing some politics.

First SEM Experience

The admission process was easy and had to fill online form which was very convenient. My goal was to take admission in this college only and never thought of anything else and I was successful in doing so. The cutoff for my course i.e. BCom was around 96% this year. I scored 96.2% in 12th grade and during the admission process my merit became 104.2% because they gave 8% addition for Maths subject...Read More

I did not apply to any other colleges and got my admission here in the very first go and was quite happy with way the admission process happened It was smooth and even the faculty members helped through it. HONEST REVIEW BY OF GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH BY A STUDENT

Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm. I think the admission process does not need any type of improvement....Read More
