Likes

Its an all girls university so its comfortable to roam
Social interactions are good and faculty experties too their teaching methods are good too

Dislikes

There are placement but only for minimum students
The infrastructure quality is kinda low or not good
The curriculum of course is mid not great but not good too

Course Curriculum Overview

About how it is both hardware and software the curriculum prepares us for real time problems and the errors in life and programs The areas od improvement inthe course curriculum and teaching methods are the detailed guidelines for that particular subject The timing for the CIE are less to prepare and for the SEE the days to prepare for the important subjects are less than the unimportant subjects

Internships Opportunities

Whirlpool and wipro are the companies that are offered under internships with stipend and the roles are normal employees There are projects on robots drones and many more and the outcomes are great to clarify the tasks give to us

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 85000 Tuition fees,caution fees is 70000 Registration fees is 1,500 Admission fees is same as yr fees itself Lab and development is 500 i think it's not mentioned specifically They take record book fees of 75 each Management seat Some of my batchmates fees is 96756 for cet sc seat There is ssp scholarship for mostly government seat students atleast till 85,000

Campus Life

There are many annual and technical festivals and some of them are janosthava and garba nights ,holi dehain and many more The range of books and journals available in the library from 1 to 10 is 8 and the accessibility is great. There is a smart board in the class which can be connected to laptops and the screen can be adjusted too there is also ac in the classrooms For sports there is basketball, volleyball, handball and through ball and as for extracurricular activities offered on campus are ncc and nss There is only a student portal which has a good impact on students day to day life

Admission

I applied to PDA ENGINEERING college but got confirmed in Sharnbasva University i had to choose this college as i had no other option left Yes i got rejection from other colleges i applied to i didn't make it there because i didn't had the money they want for the admission The admission process is simple Eligibility is 12th pass with over 45% and 10th Eams accepted for my course is cet and jee The most preferred exam by students are cet Cutoff for these exam is 45% The over all admission experience is mid

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is 3:6 the relationship between faculty to students is good and they are a mid approachable Our maths teacher is the best we liked the chemistry faculty for their friendly interactions We didn't like our physics faculty as they are too strict There are a total of 5 exams per sem they are not easy but not that difficult too.a little no.of students fail .the courses curriculum are relevantly good

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Dislikes

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Likes

Hostel food. Rooms facility. Library. Canteen.
Caretaking, cleanliness, education, laboratories
Classroom, scholarship, innovation support

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
