Campus Life

Onam and Christmas celebrations are held in respective seasons. Programs such as Union day, Victory data which are conducted by the organizations participating in the election are held. The library facilities are so intense. There are variety and plenty of books regarding every department. The students find the library so useful and helpful in their academic journey. There are basic facilities provided in the college like drinking water and toilet facilities. But the technological provisions are very limited. There are labs of every science department. But the facilities are very poor. The sports and extra curricular activities offered in the college is very good. Sports and arts fest are held regularly. There is a unit of NCC and NSS in the college. Student political organizations are very active in the college. The most active among them is the SFI which currently won the election and is in control of the union. The impact of these activities on student life is very intense as it provided

Admission

I have applied in many other colleges such as University College, MG College, Arts College, Mar Ivanios College,National College etc. I did not intentionally chose this college. I got this in management quota. I did get a rejection from all the other colleges due to low academic performance. The admission of this college takes places under the guidelines and laws published by the University of Kerala. There are management quota, merit quota, community quota. If we are taking admission in merit quota, only marks is checked, we need to have high marks. Community and management quotas should pay the prescribes fees. We have to submit a copy of 10 and 12 mark certificate. Proper admission helpdesks are provided in the college which makes the admission procedure very easy. Students of merit quota need not have to pay any additional fees to the management but students of community quota and management quota should pay fees to the ma. Exams accepted for the admission arrangement which ranges

Faculty

Faculties are friendly and they are approchable. When it comes to teaching they put their maximum efforts even with limited facilities. One of the faculties i liked is my own faculty economics, history and english. Because the members are approachable and friendly and most active ones. The faculties i dont like is Malayalam, chemistry, physics and maths.Because of their rude behavior and their unwillingness to cooperate with the students and their lack of empathy and sympathy. In my class there are 70 students. Only 10 students in the class are all pass rest of all the students have arrears. The course is very easy as it is mainly based on theories. A students who is well acquainted with the subjects can really score good marks and can academically prosper. The one thing that is very negative is the outdated syllabus and topics that is the one thing o find negative. Proper updations are not provided in the syllabus. The course curiculum is pretty much not too much but relevant in the sc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching, the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students
