I liked the atmosphere of my college. There is an amazing environment around the college. My college is in village area so vehicle noise isn't there. I also liked the education system of my college.
My college has good lab structure and good infrastructure of classes.
All the teachers and professionals are well educated and their teaching method is very satisfying.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a web developer and this course is very useful for my career. Information technology course in B.E. provides more real-world applications.there should be more practical teaching method instead of teaching on blackboard teachers has to teach us practically by giving examples. Timing of our exams is 10:30 pm to 1:30 pm which is very good. We can study till 10pm peacefully. Difficulty level of our exam is Medium.

Placement Experience

From 8th semester students are eligible for campus placements.There are many companies visited to our college like 1Rivet. No. Of offfers made is 20 to 30.highest package as per company is 15LPA ad average package is 6LPA.The percentage of students getting placement is 65%.My plan is to give more interview and apply online for job after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a TFWS(Tuition fee waviour) student so i don't need to pay tuition fees to college. But, i have to pay Exam fees which is atmost 1000? per semester.My other friends who are not An TFWS student have to pay tuition fees of 73000? per year. There are many scholarship facilities available in my college for any category student.

Campus Life

There are many annual and technical festivals held in our college like Ekatra techfest, idea fest, navratri festival, Janmaashtami, etc techfest held in our college in August or September highly after august. The range and accessibility of books and journals is vast in libraries. There are sufficient technological provisions available in our classrooms.There are many sports and extra curricular activities offered in our college like Cricket matches, Swimming race, football matches etc.

Admission

I have applied in many colleges like, C. K. Pithawala , L.D.college, RNG patel , Parul university. I have filled ACPC form and selected all this colleges but, by my rating i've got admission in the college in which i am studying now(laxmi Institute of technology, sarigam). The reason to choose this collage is that, it is 2 hours near to my home and i don't have to pay tuition fees and it is one of the top colleges of Gujarat. So, I've selected this college.the admission process in my college is very easy. I had to give necessary documents only and my admission is confirmed.cut off of my college is near 12,000 rank for tuition fee wavior and upto 30000 rank for other categories.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1/6 .Faculty members of our college are well educated and their behavior with student is completely friendly. They teach us like, we are playing games. Their teaching style is very unique.

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

The campus life is great as the atmosphere it consquires is way better than the three experiences I have had at Maharaja sayaji rao university of vadodara, Vishwakarma government Engineering college and Parul University respectively. The atmosphere
The atmosphere cultivates studying and friendly competition Between the peers,it doesn't quench that competitive Nature and rather it amplifies it, also the boy girl ratio is good.
The faculties are the best, and it's not just me all the students feel that way as some faculty are from IITS and some are very experienced and have had decades of research experience in that field.

Dislikes

I think here you focus a lot more on studies rather than extra curricular activities so I think that can be improved
There are too many lectures in a day, conpared to my friends in svit I have around 2 hours worth more of lectures
The wifi and connectivity and there being counsellors is stated but it not implemented intensively

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage
