A cosy canteen with affordable prices and delicious meals
We get 24 hours running water and electricity
Well maintained classrooms and monitored classrooms

Dislikes

Situated in aand around where flood occurs and so it creates difficulties during monsoon
Does not have a free size campus nor football ground
The desk n beches are damaged with scratch n writings

Our college provides the details on couses and the subject matter at the beginning of the college and ten days to change our course if we want to. The college also have projectors which allows us to learn through digital platforms. Exam timings depend on the subject for the minors paper which is of 20 mark a maximum of 1 hour is given n for the major which is of 50 marks a maximum of 3 hours is provided

The college offers internships Recently our seniorors went for internship some were send to orphanage some to hotel management and some to computer management after the internship they are to give a report based on the the topic

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee is 17000and an additional fee course is added for computer class ie 1500 There is no reservation for SC and ST so the are equal to all the students.ST scholarship are applicable and minimum amount of 5to 6 k as scholarship are received as installment

Campus Life

Our college celebrates the important days like Gandhi Jayanti , independence day n teachers day and also sports meet. There are thousands of books n journal n magazines available in our college Library. There are also Classrooms monitored with Cctv n projector. The college also provides a wide range of clubs like NSS ,red ribbon club, movie club and many more

Admission

I did not apply for any other colleges Well from the beginning this college was the only one in my option so I applied to this college .For the admission fee an amount of 7800 is paid as first installment during admission , two exams are given each semester only when the internal exams are cleared we are allowed to appear fr the external Overall comparing to other colleges the admission fees are quite affordable

The relationship between the teacher and student are quite friendly. Two exams are conducted each semester internal and external. 50 Mark of internal The English teacher are quite professional n understandable n fun to learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i have strong interest in this subject and I believe this course will help me achieve my career The timing for exams in our college is 1hour or 45 mins I don't think there's any suggestions for improvements with the course that im taking so far so good

Ever since I was a kid I was always interested in studying history. Infact it was my favourite thing to study. I took up this course because It's fun to study history. As an aspirant taking up history helps me to be more aware of the dates and names for the competitive exams. I think there are no improvements or changes to be made in this course as the lectures teaches so well. If you are taking history as your honors then I suggest you to study everyday and not wait for the last moment as this course is very vast and not easy for one night preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

At 11th and 12th standard i was introduced to Education subject where there were parts of Psychology and it really attracted me and also the big reason why i choose this course is because there is not much attention given to mental heath in Nagaland even tho its a serious issue here, People tend to called those mental Illness as having abnormality in the brain and lable the person with depression as fool or idiot, so just to give out a proper care for our minds i choose Psychology.As for improvements there needs to be more practical activities and by that not some paper works but more of an indepth person analysing activities, thats all and also the timings are a big problem as not enuough time leads to dissatisfaction on the paper so the timings of exam should be increased.

Actually i chose my course because i am interested in history And also I didn't expect to choose my minor as mass com but it turned out pretty interesting I like that my confidence level is going up after I joined this college The exam timing is okay (3 hours )but sometimes it's not enough so don't waste time

I myself as a students with political science as my honours. i can proudly say that political science professors are the best. The outer knowledge they impart besides our syllabus is top notch. Test and assignment are given in a such a way it is easier for us at the end of the day when we write for exams. So far i have no complaints for their course curriculum and teaching methods.

I choose this course because science and commerce are not for me. There are more than 50 teaching faculty including security, bus driver and the canteen staff. The teacher should complete their masters to teach. There is only one exam each semester but there are lots of tests.

Remarks:

It's packed with the best faculty and also it's the nearest college from where I stay. It has an amazing environment and noise pollution free. It's easy to find transportation also. The college has a lot of extra curriculum activities and provides even counseling. I took up Sociology because I grew up believing I would become a social worker. The college has also produced a good number of toppers and is considered one amongst the most cleanest college in Kohima.

I've choosen this college over the other college I've applied to because this college admission structure is very pocket friendly it doesn't cost us as much as it cost in that college I've applied to I've applied to parul university i got confirmation of the admission too but because of the high amount of fees structure I couldn't make it to that college but overall both college is a very nice college . I applied to 2 more colleges that is DU and jawaharlal nehru University I didn't get rejected yet I didn't go because it was very far from my city The admission process of my college is very simple the amount you've to pay while taking admission for art and commerce is both 8800 included 1sem fee and 3500 for the uniform the eligibility is you've toscore atleast 45%in your 12th to get admitted and there's no such things as entrance exams the most preferred course is pol sci since I'm not from there soI don't really know about it there is no cutoffs overall admission experience was good...Read More
