Course Curriculum Overview

4

Art college is very different from any another genarel college. If you want placement after studying in painting department then are you really want to be an artist? My college teach me to be honest faithful and hardworking in my field. Teaching methods are important but i think it is all upto upu hoe hardworking you can be and regular practice is must. Look as i told you exams are pretty easy theory papers are tough but if you study hard you can crack easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 16100 rupees per semester as we have 8 semesters. Registration fees 700. Tuition fees admission fees development fees all is that 16100 per sem. And we all have same compulsory charges during the course completion. As we have only 2 departments, painting and sculpture,so our fees is same. Unfortunately we don't have any scholarships.

Campus Life

3

We don't have any monthly festivals but we have freshers farewell and annual functions and exhibition. To be honest we have a very small amount of books in our library but the teacher in art history is very good she'll always help you if you having any doubts. In December annual sports and extracurricular activities are done.

Admission

I do get rejections from other colleges as i can't pass their entrance exam. Ok so the admission process it 2 steps 1st practical and is you pass practical then their will be viva test, after succeed in viva you will get to admission. In practical exam they gave you still life to draw then gave a topic on composition drawing in watercolor and writing any letter paragraphs. In viva they ask about your personal interests and you have to show them your works.

Faculty

3

To be honest some faculties are great they will always help us when we needed them. Their are 8 semesters and we have monthly displays of work,scrapbook,10 marks exam of 3 theory papers. Exams are pretty eas and those eho doing their monthly art assessments at time those will not fail. I think this monthly assessment process is best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was choosing this course because I loved painting and it's my passion and my dream was an artist and I am suitable for that course and I will fulfil my dream. BFA course has many departments like painting, crafting, graphics and printmaking Indian painting etc. And many students have talented in many specialisations and a maximum of 80-90 students in every department and 3-4 professors. Every faculty needs to qualify for class 12th and the teaching method was so good. The teachers also helped in all the cases and also if any student wants to learn others department work after specialisation department the teachers also help him for learning others work. The admission test exam time was 2 hours one hour for model drawing one our for composition with watercolour and after that the select the candidate and expose the list who can eligible for the viva test and it's too difficult after that they take viva and select the candidate and expose the shortlist finally.
