Remarks

Senior junior relationship is dependent on ones perspective. If for fun you are doing then it's OK otherwise you will be in depression for few days.I mean if you are able to introduce yourself in front of seniors and not having problem in hearing abusive language then it's OK.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure is very good. All subjects syllabus is planned very nicely and accurately. Exam structure is one of the best.Evaluation is done very correctly.Bit examinations are a bit tough here.you have to study hard to pass with flying colours here.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and job opportunities are immense if u are gud at anything.I mean this is an IIT(generally known for their placements)but seriously placements are nice. Internships are also provided as they are the part of curriculum

College Events

Srijan-Socio-Cultural fest:one of the best fests I have ever seen in my life...starting from dance events to drama, fashion show star night,DJ night all is amazing. Concetto-Tech fest:second best Basant-fest for alumnus andloved ones Hackfest

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible.Even scholarships are provided for students who are brilliant or having financial problems.conclusively there should not be any problem regarding fees structureor financial problem.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded to meritorial students and financially weak students also.Merit cum Means scholarships is provided to those whose family annual income is less than 6 lacs and have performed well in their semester examinations.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a lot of extracurricular activities events helding everyday.Taking you form sports to dance ,singing ,dramaand many more. There are clubs for everything where you can polish your skills.RoboISM is that such club where you can improve your robo skills.

Hostel Facilities

Infrastructure is very good..Rooms are little bit small but adjustable.Mess is not good but eatable.Security is enough.Air movement is very good.Special care is taken for hygiene.washrooms and bathrooms are good.overall ratings would be 3 out of 5.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni-network is very good.as I said before there is a fest called Basant for this in which alumnis are called and they are honoured by our director.Alumnis are contacted for their thoughts on some important decisions and for their help in job opportunities etc..

Faculty

Faculty wise there are some ups and downs.I mean some faculties are really very good .They are perfect in their streams like Electrical department is having a very good faculties. But there are some professors that are not so good .

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

Likes

Regular classes and on time syllabus completion before exams. Our class girls to boys ratio was 10:3
Interactive and friendly teachers who are always there for the students.
Neat and clean Campus and college does organise many other academic and cultural activities like seminar, festivals events, yearly college fest, to keep the students well engaged and active and does not provide with a boring college experience.

Dislikes

The 75% attendance criteria. where a student is must to get 75% in all there subjects otherwise they are barred from writing the semester end exams.
The college has very strict timings like schools or millitary if you are you will be held outside the gate and won't be allowed to attend the classes.

Placement Experience:

Our college does offer campus placements from 4th semester onwards. The companies visiting our college our mostly industry based hiring for the position of assistant and trainee for short term then after that fixed placement in that company after completing the given role. Companies such as Jindal stell, Glenmark, Tata Chemicals, Sun Pharma, etc. they do provide there on test and if we pass the test then they do a walk in interview. if we pass the interview then we were offered a role of assistant or trainee under the annual package ranging from 3 - 4.5L P.A.

These are my perception and I am not saying that it's fact

Likes

The campus is quite large and there is no problem of parking
The classroom 's have good and proper ventilation.
The availability of canteen and cyber cafe is also the plus point

Dislikes

The washroom is not in proper conditon . It's unhygienic
The campus is large but there should be some flowers plants and more things to make it look enchanting but there is no such things
Anyone can enter the campus for dropping there child it should be restricted

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is nothing specific about choosing it , it's just my interest on that particular subject for which I am there .we get proper notes and tips for our exams and also some life lesson . There is only thing which I find irritating and that's the gap between the exams like seriously how can expect from us to prepare 4 subject in just 2 to 3 months

Teachers and especially HOD is too cooperative
Practical classes are conducting in regular basis

Dislikes

Classrooms and offices should need camera
Ragging should be prohibited in department
Waiting area fir guest should be organise

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I type this, I am too excited to share with you that when I heard about this course in this college, I was not more excited or interested, but when was fully my parents takes my admission I was really so confused within one week. I really really happy and glad to have such a great teacher and department. When it comes to the timing of exams, along with perspective on their difficulty level, I told you that you can't even thought that how smoothly exam will over.

It is nice from my view.

Likes

The fee structure i liked the most about the collge which is affordable by everyone. Also scholarship for students is available.
The college organizes the workshops on latest trends from different organizations. Also connect with non profitable oranizations who will provide training stuents on latest technologies at free of cost.
The facilities are good, They have M.Tech degrees. Also they are very supportive.

Dislikes

I don't like the outdoor campus of the college, It is a very small area. Also the college don't have the closed campus from all sides.
The college infrastructure is also not that much good. Some departments (like CND, Home science ) classes are taken in old buildings which are not in a good conditions.
Most disliked thing is that college don't have the online admission or re-admission facitility. It is happens in offline mode only. You have to stand on a queqe to submit the admission or re-admission fee.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from 3rd semester. When i'm there only local companies of the city are came for the placement in our college campus. But if other MNC'S are coming for placements in other colleges of the city then we were informed by the placement cell and teachers. Only 20-30% students got placed at our time. My plans after getting a degree is secure a entry level position in an organization. For that i'm also looking for the off campus placements. Right now many companies hiring off campus more than on campus. So, there are more chances to secure your dream job.

Our college and journey

Placement Experience:

From last semester students because eligible for campus placement selection, there are many companies like to visit our college such as Wipro, Tata, TCS, Prabhat khabar, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, etv news, reliance, big bazaar and many more renowned companies. Usually companies offer a contract of minimum 5 to 7 lacs per annum for starting year. 50% students get placement here, because as I told you that there first year package is poor and the companies want us to sign a contract that we will never leave the company for at least 3 years which is not good in my opinion because everyone wants to explore different possibilities. I'm one of those 50% who didn't got the job, after getting the job my plan is simple I'll try to prepare for government job for 5 years if not succeed I'll do my family business.

Great Faculty, Campus with enhanced class rooms

Remarks:

Good college. Keep in mind that not every degree can be completed in four years. Some STEM fields, for example, might have industry or internship experiences that require an extra year for students to complete, and other colleges have a large number of working students who may need extra time to balance academics with jobs.

First year experience in IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

I applied to this college through JoSAA process. I gave my 12th board examinations and qualified JEE mains (98.4 percentile) and JEE advanced. I got admission through JEE advanced rank. In JoSAA counselling , I filled various other IITs and NITs. In my rank ( 19181 in jee advanced general category), the best possible option I saw was this college. The fees were also reasonable. The college is closer to my home and has a glorious history in mining for 100 years. I chose this college over others because it is a very prestigious IIT. It is close to my home too. Also I liked the branch I got here. The admission process of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad in B Tech is through JEE advanced examination after which you need to fill JoSAA counselling. For M.Tech you need to qualify GATE examination. The overall admission experience was good. Earlier I was anxious as the whole system seemed a little overwhelming but the process was smooth. The fees are also affordable and in accordance to other IITs. After admission there was a document verification procedure too which again went smoothly....Read More

This college is having a good medina package in mathematics and computing branch and that is around 30 lakh per annum. Everyone knows the admission process in any IIT and here it is same only. I face no difficulty in admission process , it is very simple....Read More

In starting I don't feel that IIT dhanbad is good IIT but when I entered I feel different. Review of IIT ISM DHANBAD

Firstly my dream is to go to IIT college because of its good placement and very big and beautiful campuses with all facilities. Secondly since my rank is 9k in jee advance . My first priority is circuital branch in first generation IIT so I prefer IIT ism Dhanbad electrical over computer science branch in second or third generation IIT . Secondly since I love physics I want to pursue that type of courses where logically thinking involved. Admission process is easy there is one portal name as jossa where you have registered yourself and then you need to fill the priority of college and branch according to your priority and rank you got college there will be 6 round in that if you don't got good college in first round go for further chances will be high you got good colleges. My suggestion is to consider both branch and college during filling the priority of your college selection since it will impact further during placements. For admission in IITs you must need to clear jee mains and advanced and atleast 75% marks in 12th board exam ....Read More

A Comprehensive Insight into IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad's admissions process is known for being quick and easy, making the process smooth for qualified people who want to pursue MBA and MBA BA studies. Importantly, applicants must meet certain requirements. Those interested can find full information on eligibility and reservation perks in the official brochure. The school is very clear about its reservation rules for SC/ST, OBC, and PWD groups; you can find this information on the admission .iitism.ac.in website. The CAT is required for both the MBA and MBA BA programs. IIT Dhanbad dosen't have a minimum CAT percentile for eligibility. Making a shortlist rests on how many applications there are and the range of CAT scores, which makes it hard to make predictions....Read More
