Course Curriculum Overview

4

I feel the course curriculum is the same accross all the Btech colleges, still the old topics and core computings, which we rarely use in our daily lifes, but apart from this we have an option of electives where we can choose to learn the technologies we like and which are relavent in todays world like agile, cloud computing, NLP, etc. apart from this we also have open elective options, being a university we have multiple courses, so we can choose a subject from different branch as our elective course and explore new branches also, like visual communication, mass media, business studies, electrial, mechanical, etc.

Internships Opportunities

2

Our college provieds very limited internship opportunities which have stipend, its mostly us who search for internships. This time it has provied a microsoft internship opportunity with stipend around 50K but it was only for girls,

Placement Experience

5

From 5th semester our placement training has started and from 7th semester companies started coming to the campus for placements. The companies visited are EY GDS, Accenture, TechMahindra, Oracle, Deliveroo, TCS, MUsigma, etc. last year placement percentage for the students who opt placements and not higher studies is around 90 percent. I have bagged in 3 offers they are from EY GDS, ACCENTURE and ORACLE.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college there is no special category seats, since its a univeristy we all had a common entrance test, through which you can avail scholorship based on the rank one gets. the scholorship percentages are 25, 50, 75, 100 percents based on the rank one gets. In my case I got my GITAM addmission test(GAT) rank around 2700 and got 25 percent scholorship. Not only through GAT exam but some of my friends got scholorship based on EAMCET and JEE mains rank also. So yearly I pay 224625 as my college fee. since I am a days scholor I also pay bus fees which is around 45k to 50k per year for a distance of 30km.

Campus Life

5

The college provides all the infrastrcuture wanted and has several clubs. management encourages clubs to conduct events to increase stundent relationships and make the bond stronger. We have wide range of books in our library, also we have e-library through which we can access the books online also. Our classrooms are highly equiped with tech, we have a projector, whiteboard, AC, locker, and touch screen monitor, mic system, sound system. the classroom is acoustically treated. we can easily start a club or student interest group and management always encourages to do.

Admission

I prefered staying in hyderabad itself for my UG education, so I went out for looking different univerity options across hyderbad, I flet GITAM would be the best choice for me considering the clubs, activities and education system. Our college admission process is simple, apply for GAT exam which is mandatory and confirm the seat and then verification process and all

Faculty

4

Majority of our faculties are PHD holders, so they have a great subject knowledge. We can Have a great relationship with faculties, they are always welcoming to clarify our doubts. but on the other hand there are some faculties who treat students like negative people, they talk very arrogantly and wont even understand the problem and keep yelling. The marking scheme: 70 Marks Internals in which 30 marks are mid exams, 20 marks quizes, 20 marks assignments. 30 Marks for semester end exam. very few people fail the exams because of the internal marking system.

Night Life

3

Since our college is in outskirts they are no great places to hangout apart from college premisis. the college has great gym with almost all required equipments, one in campus and other in hostel. our college timings are 8am to 4pm. outside the colleges they are some places to roam around like manjeera dam, narsapur forest urban park, etc.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

My parents didn't want me to go far away and stay in hostle and study, I prefered local best in the place I stay

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is relevant because we are not just studying theory all the time. Along with regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects and problem solving which actually feels useful. It feels like the course is designed to help us build skills that we will need later not just clear semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

Placement Experience:

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer. This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more. The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
