- The vibrant campus life , excellent faculty support and the best infrastructures, and also the good support of peer friends .
- The girls to boys ratio is 60:40 and it is more often equal also. the faculty expertise are so qualified for teaching us , they teach us using the modern methods and teach us practical way .
- The sense of community was strong and the students being collaborative and supportive , you have a lot of learning facilities and that includes best libraries.
Dislikes
- There are opportunity for placements when you area having 8.5 CGPA overall .
- And who likes the 75% attendance criteria . and also the fees for backlog is 10,000 . If you fail only in external exam the you have to pay 3,000 and if you fail the whole course then the fees of backlog is very high .
- Fine for not submitting fees is also very high
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriclum is not that bad also , it is changin in these years and they bought new cyber forensics course also so that we can get the hand to hand exp , I choosen the course Btech CSE because of the facility in the college . Tt eefectively bridges theoretical concepts with the real word application though case studies and projects . it could be improved by providing interships for the studnets who are above 7 CGPA also and to provied more modern curriculum on the industry standard so that we can learn more
Internships Opportunities
Interships which are offered by recent companies are AVENA , Signode and they are paid intership 50,000 per month and they are offered for the role of dev or sde rolel . and sometimes interships are given to the students who are having 8.5 CGPA above also ... and you need to have a good project based on your interest like MERN stack project and also you can have leetcode for the DSA , E commerse website and also any clone so that company may get to know about our tech stack
Placement Experience
Students at my college become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem . Companied such as TCS , Infosys , deloitte , Amazon and the accenture frequently visit , offering roles in the software development, consulting and analytics . Last year the highes packages was 12 LPA offered by Amazon for the SDE role , and the average pacakage was 5 LPA and around 70% get placement . After completing my degree i plan to pursue a career in software eng , intership and certifications for many securing coding bootcamps to enhance my getting job position
Fees and Financial Aid
Scolarship area aviable for students who score a AGT rank below 300 . Eligible students receive a 15% reduction in their sem fee . To continue availing of thier scholarship , students must maintain a minimum SGPA of 8.0 in each semsister . The integradted fee structure is 1,90,000 and it keeps increaseing 5% for every semsister . However they provide interships for the studnets who are having 8.5 CGPA above only . Sibilings based scholarship are avaiable where you can get 10% of the discount in you fees .
Campus Life
Campus life at my college has been vibrant and engaging . The annual cultural fest PRAMANA held every year and the techincal fest in OCTOBER are the highlight of the year . this makes all the student collaborate with each year . The library is well stocked offering a wide range of books , research journals and digital resources including the subscriptions to platforms like Cambringe University Journals . classrooms are equipped with smart board and projectors , ensuring interactive technology . Sports facilities are good they provide the opportunityfor every major sport and they also have inter college matches . and their are many culbs which have focus on every category like COOGAN for coding , Cyhack for the cyber people and also many more
Admission
I applied to three colleges : GITAM , VIT and SRM . while i received confirmed admissin offers from GITAM and SRM i choose GITAM due to its modern curriculum l undustry - focused approach and a better faculty-to-student ratio. Additionally , GITAM location was more convenient and its scholarship opportunities for GAT rank holders added financial benefirs . I was rejected from VIT as my score didnt meet the required cutoff in its enterance exam . Eligibility required a mim of 60% in class 12 The process included an noline appilication , the entereance exam , counselling and the seat confirmation . My overall experience was smooth with prompt communication and helpful guidence during counselling .
Faculty
The faculty to stduent ratio is around is 1:60, ensuring every section . Faculty memebers are approachable and supportive especiaaly during project and doubt clearing session. There are no certain faculty that i didnt liked is Sravanti mam CSE dept cause she is too strcit and she doesnt cares about the studnet comfort lever she keeps the quiz exam(5 marks ) in the safe browser so that we can get less marks . there are only 1 mid and 1 sem exam for each sem and the exam are not that hard if yo ueven prepare before the exam you can get good score . and during my batch avg students who fail the subject is 1 or 2 thats all , but majority of them can pass
Interview Experience
No there weer no Gd and all . its simple u applied for your college seat and when you get seat you can just take the admission thats al.. ... You should pay the fees and all and you can get admission . there is no GD
Night Life
thier is no night life for the day scholar people for hostlers do have and they roam around the campus in the night also . and canteen and lib in the campus are open till 8pm and students can have spend their time . i dont be in hostel so i cant tell accurate but mostly student have to be in hostel by 8pm or 9pm otherwide the parents would get call by the warden . famous hangouts places are gitam cafe , cafe connection, dabba cafe , and canteens , yeah they are too safe to be their
