What Students Say

Likes

There are opportunities for students to do performances and other activities. Nss ,ncc,rr is there for students to join.
The professors are very good and decent .they help us a lot.
There are many scholarships that can help students financially

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very old.The buildings are old and have seelan .
The classes have broken seats .in some places there us garbage too
Claases are held ..but sometimes in some subjects there are no classes taken. There is no attendence taken in BA

Course Curriculum Overview

This college is quite near my home and students of our area who have to pursue plain Bachelors, admit to this college. The curriculum is normal and of no use for competitive exams except in some subjects like history ,political etc

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 1700 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of this college is very affordable. I paid like 1750 rupees for the whole year in 2nd year BA There is a minimal examination fee of 500 rupees For practical subjects the fees is quite higher like 2000 or 2500 . There is cgpa based scholarship for students who did well in exams and score more than 75% .

Campus Life

There are many programs held like seminars, sports ,functions etc. We can participate and can get a chance to perform for state level too. There is a library and books are available . Sports are held here regularly and there is practice too.

Admission

I applied for du and got selected but it was far way .so i had to go to this college. But i got to learn a lot , as i took Nss ,it helped me a lot in boasting confidence and performing activities . There is no eligibility exam required here. You should pass 12 with 50% .

Faculty

The faculty is averge. The teachers of some subjects are good and help the students out. But in some subjects there are no classes . The exams are easy. You dont have to study everything .just need to see a few important points and write properly

Night Life

There are no such facilities in this college. There is no hostel inside the college .the chidren live in pg near the college which are available . There are many places ,cafes outside the college to hang out and enjoy

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Music)

College life-A Wonder of life

Likes

The surroundings are really appreciated .But the only negative thing is tiediness in the campus
My college is very simple and its going in very smooth .Campus gives good feel to the students. Here people from out of state is also there so socially also it is good.
Faculty is also good it contains very highly educated faculty .

Dislikes

Surroundigs untiedness i.e the surroundings not clean
Lots of student union rushh makes the surrounding untiedy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose econmics for my further studies, as I have curiosities to learn more about economics .Real.life examples expalnation influnced me most to learn and study economics. National Eduction Policy boosts the learning power of the students which is improtant for further academic progress.

MBGPG HALDWANI REVIEW

Likes

In MBGPG Haldwani the campus area is neat and clean
NCC and NSS programme are also available in college
Books issued from the college library for the college students

Dislikes

College area is surrounded by market area, which is cause of distrubance
Security in entry and exits is very weak and careless
Classes are too small, students faced problems due to overloaded classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose generally this course because of I am a civil services aspirants Teaching method of faculty members is very poor, they tells students her personal life problems not a syllabus. The timing of semester exam is not proper sometimes in 4 months the semester is end, sometimes they pull semster time too long

Old and new

Likes

The thing we need are easy accessable near the college we dont have to go far.
Most of the teachers are wlvery friendly, the geography teachers.
During winter there is a ground in between our college and the sun rays directly comes there so when we need to sit nd relax its a perfect spot.

Dislikes

Something during our exams and for are english classes we had to sit in the old building of the college and they are very dull the fan are so far above and for winters the sun doesn't even come there and the whole room was damp.
The english teacher was very rude and it's difficult to hear her voice even on the first bench.
We were only provided with the syllabus but not with the material and some topics are vast and difficult study them all

Course Curriculum Overview:

Tbh i was comfused what to do so for rhe mean while i decided to do BA. It doesn't, we hardly come to the college even when we did some teachers were not they and we didn't even had a group where they can notify us. Only the students who found them are in that group and they don't add you.. some kind of cult it seems. There was nothing extraordinary about the teaching and i would say even the nursery teacher are more determined to teach kids than them. We had one hour for 30 marks exam AND ONLY 2 hour for 70 marks exam and on top of that they expect us to write 4-5 pages answers and attempt even questions???!! Lets be real, i am not a robot.

MBPG College Haldwani

I applied in all these colleges like Pal College of Haldwani, Government College of Nainital, Almora, MBPG, Mahila College of Haldwani. I got the confirmation form from Pal College or Mahila College or MBPG. I chose MBPG because this college was near my home and the fees were very less here and the course I wanted to do was also there. After that I filled the form for the fitse Pal College and then I got the rejection form due to less seats. MBPG College Haldwani Admission process is based on Merit list. No separate exam is conducted. Merit list is prepared on the basis of 12th marks. Mainly 60+% is compulsory for BSc. Overall Admission experience was good. Seniors help a lot....Read More
