- Good teachers, easy to talk and share doubts, very helpful.
- Good environment the college is situated at a place with lots of trees and greenery.
- Sufficient learning facilities and placement training classes are provided, even some Mtech courses are available here. Encouragements in building business career.
Dislikes
- Lab facilities are less for civil department. No seperate building for civil and mech departments
- Most of teachers are guest lecturers mainly for civil department.
- Placements are really less, college is also not that much well known
Course Curriculum Overview
2019 course syllabus or curriculum is really not that good. Mostly Focus on theory part while practical is really needed for btech students. No such skill development methods are taught. One internship is mandatory and a final year main project is required to complete the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
For year wise almost Rs 8000/- has to be paid while for OBC and OEC category there is egrantz scholarship and hence they Just have to pay university exam fees almost of Rs 2000/- while SC, ST students don't have to pay fees as their fees would be taken up by scholarship money
Campus Life
College has a good infrastructure and can have a good campus life. There are many clubs like sports, arts, NH13 ( dance club) etc which are highly active and participates in different cultural events occurring in and outside of the campus
Hostel Facilities
College hostel have good food and facilities for ladies while for men's hostel the facilities aren't that much good. Private hostels also have good facilities but food aren't that good. Fees for hostels are comparatively lesser than other areas.
Admission
Other government colleges needed higher ranks and hence I got this college it's better than private college because there are no spoon feeding method to study if you want you can study through books or internet etc. much better fees structure.
Faculty
Facilities are less and there are many guest lecturers in the college. Teaching method is not that much satisfactory. There are 2 series exams and 1 sem exam best from both the series exams are taken as a internal marks. Exams are moderate but valuation is really bad.
Night Life
There are gym, and canteen in the campus. Library of the campus can be used till 9PM and the classrooms of campus are closed at 5PM but students can stay inside the campus till 9PM. college ground can be utilised during night, and college is 24 hrs open during celebrations or sports events days. Famous places near college would be places like Malampuzha dam and palakkad fort
