All positive, hard work pays here , out of the box thinking is appreciated , opportunities are a at a day distance , all kind of fascilites can be availed , teachers are pro students very positive environment , competitive and scholar.

This is the only college in m.p which have all the bachelors degree covered in respect to science , whether it is fisheries , agriculture , zoology , geology to any branch , since the college is autonomous all procedure regarding exams are conducted by college itself and now exams are conducted anually and not 6 monthly.

There are placements but few out of many are selected , majority of students go for govt. Exams here. Internships are not provided by college but it is mandatory to do one internship in 6th semester as you want to do from wherever you want to do.

Various seminars on environment , yoga , red cross , cultural activities, quizs, debate competitions,annual sports events , annual functions takes place, also various intetcollege events are organised of which students are informed prior to event , amdroid pc based game competition also takes place.

Fee structure is quite feasible just like another normal govt. Colleges , it also provide scholarship on merit and caste basis. Fascilites to fees ratio is quite high. It is full of opportunities its upto students to take this opportunity or not.

i availed central sector post metric scholarship which provided me 10000 per annum which almost covered 75% of my annual fee although various new scholarships have come and even provide free of education in holkar , these type of scholarship can also be availed here. If person belongs to st/sc or obc , fees is reduced to nominal only as st/sc have to pay 550/- as fee , obc have to pay 7,500/- and general have to pay 15,500/-.

I would say lab is very regular , and its compulsory to attend otherwise there are every chance you ll end up failing in practical exam and believe me it does happen here , in my 1st semester 34 students failed in physics practical reasons were they did not attended lab and doesn't knw how to perform experiments. Holkar is also famous for its basket ball team twice a year competition are held in basket ball , volley ball , cricket. So you see a complete package.

Although I haven't opted for it , but as i know holkar does not have hostel of its own but there is an hostel linked to holkar campus and it can be considered as a part of holkar's hostel, i wont say its the best in that area also most of students does not opt for it , also it is only for boys but there are good no. Of students in that and hostel's unity is well known in college.

Most of the people in collectorate including governor , deputy collector all are from holkar. Various national level speakers are from holkar it has very wide range in alumni and have students in every sector as it is 127 year old college.

When I completed my 12th std. , Counselling was started for bachelor degree in madhya pradesh as per Counselling i filled this college as my priority, i chose 3 time this college in 1st Counselling round with different streams , luckily i got the computer science stream which had the cut off of 89.80 which was my score, and later on i received the message on mp portal to take admission within 3-4 working days, and i did accordingly.

College faculty is quite helpful , experienced and sincere , you will feel teachers feeling their responsibility to teach , they come on time go on time whether students come or not their motive is to teach as much students are present. Also extra classes if needed are given to cover course if you are weak they also provide personal guidance and likes to help you.
