pros and cons of Government Engineering College, Dahod.

the course which i am studying right now is computer science and it follws the old syllabus which is not 2018-2019 but the new students(first year students of 2024). are starting with a new syllabus which is great. The external exam is conducted in every semester in every 6 months(end of the semester) and the mid semester exam is also conducted every semester(in between the semester).

Placements are quite average if own a good skill set then definitely you will get a average salary job like 4-5 LPA. If i do not get the on campus placment i will try to connect to the companies throught linked in or i will try any referral. Average salary in my college is 3-4LPA. My plan after getting a degree is to get an average salary job to earn experience and maturity then try to open any startup or business.

It is a governmment college so the fees is very minimal: tuition fees of approx. 1250/- each semester and exam fees of approx 750/- each semester for girls the fees is lesser than the boys almost neglegible.

Overall campus placement is very nice. there is a system called 100 activty points in which you have to earn 100 points in 4 years by collecting the certificates in extra curricular activities. which not only promotes education but also sports. and mindful activities.

I chose this college because it is in my city and it was very convenient to me being at my home and studying with such minimal fee structure. and also i didn't have enough marks to go into more better colleges than this one. If i compare it to other government colleges such as LD engineering colllege ahmedabad or MSU vadodara. the downside of the college is it's average package. you can apply through the official website of ACPC for the admission process in this college.

my class strength is approx 74 so there is a 1 faculty for 7-10 students. there is a mid semester exam in the middle of the semester which is of 20 marks. then there is an external exam conducted by the university(GTU) which is of 70 marks. so there are 2 exams in one semester.

the campus is almost empty at night there is only one gym in hostel. there is nothing like night life in the campus. there are cafes near to the college which are a nice place to hangout but there is nothing in college to hangout except the canteen.
