A fresher student in gec

I am really interested in computer systems and how it works, so i decided to do it. As a computer engineering student i've to be curious towards learning new things and provide better applications to user so life becomes easy. There are too many opportunities after this course and many diffrent fields for pursuing better career.

Some of the students got placed in big companies like tata and infosys. But internship is quite low in this college, we have to do it by ourself. and they starts training from the 1st sem so i liked this about college.

Placements are pretty average, but in this course we have plenty options after college in off campus so we can take that advantage of being computer engineer. after completing degree we have many open doors as an developer or data analyst and many more so no problem with it.

So goverment engineering college dahod has fee structure like every goverment engineering college. It has 2500 fees including computer lab fee per sem, So per year approax 5000. It gives scholarship benefits accordingly subcasts. For sc/st there are almost free and for general students they have mysy opportunity

Campus life is pretty average i would say, not that active. Every students are busy with their own, they Don't engage with others and busy in their own. In a year they arrange 2-3 programs for social aspects and entertainment.

The hostel is good, we get three people in one room and three beds for each. Meal quality is pretty low, there is no proper goverment funded mess so it's quite expensive. So according to fee hostel is pretty good.

As i am general category student so i didn't make it to other top level college, so i get opportunity as an ews so i get into it. This college is good but the problem is in city it's very low standard city. I wasn't able to get at top colleges because of my rank. Admission process is smooth everyone answering properly.

Some of the faculties are too good and friendly and their behavior towards students are good too, but at other hand some faculties are egoistic and rude. We have all subject faculties properly but some of them are lazy so not attendiing classes.Exam system is very good in it. If you failed midsem then you'll get another chance to passout it.

There is no night life in campus, as the are of college is very dangerous so it's quite risky to roam arround in night. So we prefer to hangout in hostel and garden next to the hostel. so its average nightlife.
