INSIGHTS ON VGEC COLLEGE AHMEDABAD

I will say that ciriculam here is way too old school as here in the world right now there are many technologies there but we are not being not taught that we are being taught which is very used technology so It is not nice

The placement of my college is very good . It is overall 90% and in my department of computer engineering it is of 100% Here the student get eligible for placement from 7th semester Here notable companies which come for placement are tarvasoft,argusoft,meditab,nirma,tech Mahindra,zydus,torrent power. Here highest placement is of 14lakh and average placement is of 6 lakh per annum My plans after getting degree will be getting a job gain experience then go for masters in abroad

My college is a government college so my yearly fees is 3000 rs I am taking loan for my hostel fees my hostel yearly fees is 88000 thousand rupees I am taking mysy scholarship for my hostel aid It will be based on performance on my 12rh standard performance in board examination

The campus life is overall very nice. He have huge and very large infrastructre and campus is very big here The annual fest conduct are code vote,vishwacup which is a sports tournament,argue arena,samvaad ,rangmanch. The range avaibility of getting books in library is nice here there are many section in library . We have volleyball court ,football ground ,cricket ground and gymkhana for sports . Here student run clubs are IEEE club

I am living in my Jain hostel. We have three sharing room with toilet and bathroom. He have personal bed,cupboard,studytable also The facilities in our room are cupboard,studydesk . The menu will be of breakfast lunch and dinner Here food is very pure in my hostel The registration process is on hostel website and merit based . The rent here is 88000 per year so it is quite costly We have gym library and indoor game room in hostel My locality of hostel is paldi cross road

I chose this Vishwakarma Government Engineering College as it is ranked as 2nd best government college in gujrat state. I would say I this college choosing decision was best for me as the fees here is very nominal like 3000 rs per year The admissions process here is we have to feel acpc form where there are two type of merit One merit is based on gujcet percnrtileplus 12th board exam percentile Gujcet is entrance exam test in Gujarat state colleges And other is jee exam based merit We then get our merit rank based on jee and based on gujcet and accordingly we get rank My jee merit rank was 2216 and gujcet merit rank was 1372. My suggestion will be to go for good preparation of gujcet as it have less competition and changes of scoring is higher than jee I got admiison in bvm college but I rejected that as vgec college is very nice and there will be exposure of city by going with choice of vgec. I also face rejection here as my dream college were nirma and daiict but I couldn't make to it as my score was less for getting this college However I am happy in this college

Here faculties are okay okay.Some teachers are really nice in nature while others are straight forward to teaching and they don't understand students difficulties. Faculty to student ratio is 1:40 ,I think this ratio should be less so teacher will be more focussed on more no of students . Teacher are like most are dsm sir ,nakul sir,vinod sir ,bhavin sir as they were understanding students problem and analyzing where they lack I didn't like egd teachers as they were moving so fast that we could not understand topic and that topic were cumbersome for exam The exam system consist of 4 parts Mid semester exam will be of 30 marks and will cover half syllabus,End semester exam will be of 70 marks covering full syllabus . Passing them is very easy one hardly will fail in them Then there will be practical exam of 30 marks and viva exam of 20 marks will be there . Thinking about the ciriculam I will say that curciuclam here is very out dated so I try learn things on internet also

No there were no written test or group discussion the criteria for admission was based on 12th standard result gujcet examination and jee result There will be merit list based on these exam and corresponding to that result for admission college will be there

The night life of college is very low as here the infrasture of light is not that much nice and it is very dark and shady there Here mess food is not nice here so we mostly go out to eat food Here there are many foodspots near college to go
