Remarks

College is really great all the things are really impressive. A college lifestyle is also an idea for building a great community in the future. College is really impressive for its academic and other accomplishments.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well distributed and everything is great. The exam is 3 hrs and credits for exams vary from 3 and 4 on University exams. To enter an exam a student has to qualify in the internal exam and then have 75 percent attendance in that subject. The exam is 100 marks and 45 is the pass mark.

Placement Experience

Placements are great in my college. Internships are directed by the college. They tell us where internships are available and we are directed to do the internships. Internships across various departments are also available. Overall experience is excellent and the stipend is good.

College Events

There are arts fest and college technical fest conducted in the college. Moreover, there are sports events also. Arts and technical fest vary from inter-department to inter-college levels and the participants experienced is pretty good. The college has enough facilities to conduct the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is 8000 per yr as of tution fees. Additional fees include fees for union benefactor etc. Studying in a government college is really feasible and life is quite joyful. The best part of living here is the effect of non-forcing responsibilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots of general scholarship and loan facility available at our college. Being a government college, loans are not particularly high. Expenses are cut short for tution and if you have a good rank then you are lucky enough to study without a tution fee.

Campus Life

Lab and technical items are really impressive. There are enough facilities to accommodate the whole college for college-based activities in various environments. Sports actually is a bit weird we use the university stadium for our sports activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network is really helpful in attaining placements and college-based activities. The alumni of our college are in a very good position to help with various job opportunities and lively requirements.

Admission

There was the common Kerala entrance examination. Passed the examination got a good rank of 3k. Applied via the common admission portal and got admission to my current College. The admission procedure was filling the forms and meeting with the principal.

Faculty

Faculty are all alumnus of various IITs. They have a piece of great background knowledge of various topics. All faculties are mostly having a PhD in relevant areas. All facility available in the college is well advanced.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities
provide internet facilities like wifi and average classrooms

Dislikes

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Placement Experience:

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

From the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. So many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Gst Global, etc. are visited for placements. These companies provide placement for all the branches of the college. 90 percent of the students get placements. I prefer to go for higher studies after getting the degree.

G.E.C. PALAMU : A. Brief Overview .

Actually I applied in Chandigarh University , KIIT , SRM, and Quantum University . I even. Done the formalities of Quantum University but when the result of JCECEB COUNSELING came I took decision to take admission in this college as for now I think my decision is good . This college first of all government aided which provides a way better option than other private colleges which I opted for . Also this college might not compare with the other private colleges which I mentioned in so called renowned facilities but still we can get all basic facilities here . And all the above the fees here is very much affordable as compared to all the colleges which I mentioned in my list . Means all your engineering course will be completed in about 5 lakhs . which is very much less as compared to even NIT and IIT.
