Campus Life

In the month of Feb or March our college conducting a fest and pharma day celebration and national festivals are celebrated in respective month in our college more than 10,000books and journals are available technically we are having ppts in our class room sports and extra curricular activities are conducted in our clg eg cricket throw ball volley ball

Admission

I applied to the College of bhapuji clg in Dvg and sidganga college in tumkur but I got Sjm college of pharmacy in Chitradurga due to ceet ranking offline admission to get 40,000tobelow 1 lakh ranging we get admission in our clg

Faculty

25 members faculty in our college and also attenders in laboratory they are friendly with students and they provide best knowledge to us and they clarify our doubts at anytime We have 2 exams in a year because we have semester system

Night Life

We are having murgarajendra mutta near our campus in campus timing will be 9:30to 5 hostel timings above 7 o clock will not allowed to hostel and for boys there is no timings for hang out with friends there is so much cafe behind our college

Likes

The faculty is highly knowledgeable and supportive. They teach from standard reference books which builds a very strong, industry-ready foundation for our B.Pharma careers.
Our campus life is highly engaging and collaborative.I love how active our extracurriculars are.
The college infrastructure is excellent. We have spacious, well-equipped, and hygienic laboratories. Additionally, the active placement cell offers great support for career advancement and internships.

Dislikes

The academic schedule and attendance policies are extremely strict. While it is good for discipline, it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming and leaves us with less free time during the weekdays.

Placement Experience:

Since I am currently in my first year (2nd semester), I have not directly participated in the campus placement drives yet. However, based on interactions with our seniors and the faculty, students typically become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester (final year). The college has a highly active and dedicated placement cell that works hard to bring in reputed pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Organizations like Apollo Pharmacy, Cipla, and Sun Pharma are known to recruit from our campus. The profiles offered to B.Pharma graduates generally include roles in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Data Management. From what we have been informed, the average package offered to freshers is around ₹3,00,000 per annum, with the highest packages going up to ₹4,50,000 to ₹5,000,000 per annum, depending on the recruiting company and the student's academic performance. A strong majority, roughly 70% to 80% of the students who actively participate in the placement process, successfully secure job offers. As for my personal plans after completing this degree, I aim to join the pharmaceutical industry to gain practical experience, ideally in clinical research or pharmacovigilance. Eventually, I plan to pursue a Master's degree (M.Pharm) to further specialize and advance my career in the healthcare sector.

Memories with college life

Likes

I personally like way of staff teaching and communicate
The fees structure is very affordable compare to other college
Celebrate fest every year for 15 days included sports

Dislikes

I doesn't like that there is no campus placement
The lab equipments are not more enough to use
The senior junior interaction is not as good i expected

The curriculum is very relevant and it introduce us about medicinal industry and social awareness about health. The fear about exam is real, but we can handle it , because of good teaching and support of faculty

Their is no such positive things in our college, building is good but not that much, we have many problems like no toilet, no good condition labs,no good lectures,no good management etc. But some lectures are very nice
