Course Curriculum Overview
I was a commerce student in my 11-12th so I decided to chosse bcom in graduation and for this college because it was near my home and also a government college. The difficulty level was exam was low as almost every student managed to pass and as per the real worls applications i would rate 2 out of 5 for this degree. For improvement they should conduct workshops and practicals and also to look in the attendance system.
Fees and Financial Aid
It was government college so fee structure was not very high. It was very affordable and per year we have to pay approx 6500 ruppes. And also they provide some compensation to SC and ST. Plus they provide 100% scholarships to those students whose family income was very low.
Campus Life
Overall experience of mine with this college is neutral as I didn't attend classes because if the no attendance system and i missed classes which lead to downfall in my knowledge but other things like cultural fests and freshers and elections for student council and other events including sports and ncc were of a good level. These all events and programs made student very active.
Admission
As this college was near my home and also it was a government college, I didn't opt for any other colleges but this one. The admission process for this college is very easy , you have to do a online registration and then by visiting college you can get a admission form and after that according to your % in 12th , merit list are announced and if you have your name in that list your admission form is approved and then you can visit the department to fill up the degree form in which you have to submit your documents and board results.
Faculty
As i was in bcom so there were all the faculties for commerce department but as i have observed that for other courses teachers were not there. The exam system was that only once final exams were conducted for 1 semester and almost every student passes the exam and very less amount of students were to fail
Night Life
As i was a day scholar i have no experience of hostel life or night life. Our classes starts from 9 am And my personal favourite hangout place outside the campus was taste of sikkim. And if talking about inside the campus there was a place above the ground.
