Remarks
No there are no negative remarks, they just give you a lot of work. You have complete it on time and make sure no backlogs and your attendance is always above 75 percent. They teach you all the necessary things to go in the industry
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is hands on. There is very less theory and you get to do a lot of practical stuff. Very good for design students. The exams are divided into two parts externals and internals. In internals you are marked by university faculty on daily assignments and those are the assignments you present in front of your externals. There are very less theory exams.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are only for the students who have done well in academic. Design companies come and give average package of 7lpa. They do not provide internship, they do when you are literally unable to, which is very rare. They always let you explore the industry on your own
College Events
There are a lots and lots of events. Even there are 24 hours events. You get to interact with people from industries and of your own college. People of design get to work in sketching, craft and all. All the four years come together and make all the events splendid. Some events are, fundamental, shilpkatha, lakshay etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is expensive for a design school but it is also worth it. If you manage yourself well, and be productive then nothing better then that. I live in hostel and pay fee for mess as well and including with academic it becomes around 4-6lpa. Laundry is separate. Stationary and ur stuff is separate. But they provide you with necessary facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no schlorship facility and I am not aware of loan but there must be student loan. There is an accounts department you can always reach that. If you get good grades, you might not get good scholarships but opportunities.
Campus Life
There are all kinds of labs and studios for design students. You get so much of work that there is no time for activities beyond participating in fests. But people always go for volunteering and stuff. Sports competitions are there and there are a few sports facilities like basketball, football, table tennis etc. there is no swimming pool. There is also gym and dance
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very nice and cozy. Wardens and staff is really nice. Though you always find some problems but there is always a solution. There are two labradors in the hostel campus b and c wing for girls. Plus food is good.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful. Sometimes you get to share room with seniors like me. You can always reach out to alumni and seniors for help thru university or friends connections or social media. You can connect thru hostel also and there are lots of campuses so u get to know about other courses also.
Admission
Well there was an initial written test based on design aptitude which we had to clear for further rounds. The second round is studio test and personal interaction. In studio test they give you some questions and you have make 3d model, stories and posters on that. And then in the interview you have to showcase your portfolio if u have any and they ask you questions about the course and maybe about the work you have done in studio test.
Faculty
Faculty teaches you everything which has to be done, they let you do what you like in your own way, then they help you to make it better and improvise. The faculty is loving and kind. And they also help you with placements.
