Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I would rate the course curriculum at JG University as highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers a wide range of topics within the subject area, ensuring that students not only understand the fundamentals but are also exposed to advanced concepts that are important for their field. The curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education, combining both theoretical knowledge and practical learning. Foundational subjects build a strong base, while specialized and advanced topics prepare students for real-world challenges and future academic or professional pursuits. Overall, the curriculum is up-to-date with industry standards and allows students to gain both academic depth and practical skills, making it a great fit for holistic development.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at JG University for my course is quite transparent and reasonable. The total course fee is structured semester-wise, and each academic year follows a clear breakdown that includes tuition and other necessary charges. For my batch, the annual fee is approximately ?85,000, which includes the tuition fee, registration charges, examination fees, and access to university facilities. There are no hidden charges, and the same fee structure applies to most students across categories like General, SC, ST, and OBC. However, some students from reserved categories may be eligible for government scholarships, which can significantly reduce the financial burden. As far as I know, the fees have remained consistent over the last couple of years, and there hasn’t been any major hike recently. That said, any future revisions are generally communicated well in advance by the administration. In terms of scholarships, JG University offers merit-based and need-based scholarships. Students with excellent academic performance in previous qualifications (like 10+2 or undergraduate marks) may qualify for Merit Scholarships, which can range from ?10,000 to ?25,000 per year depending on performance. There is also a Merit-cum-Need Scholarship, which is considered for students from economically weaker backgrounds who also maintain good academic standing. Overall, the fee structure is student-friendly, and the scholarship opportunities make higher education more accessible for deserving candidates.

Campus Life

4

The overall campus life is good with lots of event and clubing with good environment and best campus events. The College focuses on Studies and as well as good enterinment and fun challenges to students.

Admission

The Admission process of overall easy and good. The faculty and the Seniors eased the process of admission and mad the porcess as fast as possible. The Admission was done with ease and without any inturruption.

Faculty

3.5

The interaction between students and faculty at JG University is very friendly and respectful. Most professors are approachable, supportive, and genuinely interested in helping students succeed. They have a good understanding of their subjects and know how to deliver concepts in a clear and effective manner. Their teaching style is engaging, and many of them also share real-world insights which enhance classroom learning. The course structure is well-planned and balanced, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Each semester includes a mix of core and elective subjects, along with assignments and projects that help students apply what they learn. The exam system is semester-based, with regular internal assessments, unit tests, and final exams. Internal assessments include quizzes, presentations, assignments, and attendance. The marking scheme generally includes 30–40% weightage for internal evaluation and 60–70% for end-semester exams. The exams are fair and based more on understanding than rote learning. Overall, the academic experience at JG University is solid, regardless of the degree you're pursuing. The faculty’s support and the structured curriculum together create a good environment for learning and growth.

Interview Experience

3

No, There was no such activity before admission. the admisssion was online and virtual with a volunteer beside me (one of the senior from college). The experience was average. The college has not interviews or written test just a form for admission.

Night Life

1

Their is no night life in J.G University as the college gets closed very soon somewhere around 5 maybe. the Campus life is not their. There is no regret but still if there would be a campus life it would be an amazing experince for the college life.

I was interested in computer and coding so I took this course to learn and explore more as it's easy to understand when faculties explain the theorems, practicals, etc. Areas of improvements I personally see are nothing. Yes there is a shortage in time between exams with the syllabus.

I choose this university because they have a skill based learning technique. Students here learn practical skills that are currently needed in market. The curriculum is well prepared for real world. Frequency of CCE is not consistent so they need to make a fixed timetable for it so students can manage their time
