Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is relevant and mostly practical, which was a key reason I chose the course. It focuses on industry skills and real-world applications, though some subjects feel rushed or shallow. Exams happen every semester with internal tests in between; difficulty is moderate if you stay consistent. The course could be improved by deeper subject coverage, more hands-on projects, and stronger teaching methods that avoid slide-based explanations.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Total Fee for the full course at PW IOI Noida is 8.5 lakh for the entire duration. The institute currently does not provide hostel facilities, and there are no category-based scholarships or fee relaxations. The fee structure has remained stable so far without any yearly increase. Admissions are strictly merit-based through the entrance test and an interview, with no reservation-based concessions.

Campus Life

1

Campus life at PW IOI Noida is limited. There are no major annual or technical festivals yet, so don't expect big cultural events. Classrooms are decent with projectors and smart boards, but the overall infrastructure is minimal. Sports facilities and extracurricular options are almost nonexistent, and there are very few active clubs or student-run groups. Whatever groups exist are small and have a limited impact on campus life. Social interaction mostly depends on your own circle rather than any structured college activities.

Admission

I chose PW IOI Noida mainly because the curriculum seemed more practical and industry-focused compared to other private colleges I applied to. I also got admission offers from a few private colleges, but their fees were higher, and the course structure felt outdated. PW IOI looked like a better value-for-money option. The admission process at PW IOI is straightforward; you apply online, clear their entrance test, and then attend an interview. There are no category-based relaxations, and selection is based purely on performance is moderate since each batch has limited seats. Overall, the process is quick and easy compared to traditional engineering colleges.

Faculty

1

Faculty quality is average, and teaching often feels inconsistent. Each batch has around 100 students, and the PW IOI Noida engineering program currently runs only two batches, which limits individual attention and proper faculty-student interaction.

Interview Experience

1

No, because Physics Wallah of the Institute of Innovation is very simple, and the questions are very basic and normal, and tech-based. There is no any group discussion on any platform or social media.

Night Life

1

There's basically no nightlife on or around the PW IOI Noida campus. The campus shuts down early- Classrooms, cafeteria all close by evening, and there's no hostel, so students have to return to their PGs or home. There are no late-night campus activities or hangout spots inside the institute. Outside the campus, the area is fairly safe, but it's not a nightlife zone. Students usually hang out at nearby cafes, small food joints.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
