Placements at SGI is great with the highest placement at 38 Lakhs.
Tie ups with more than 500+ companies for placements and internships.
There were 2 guest sessions every month and one industry visit in every two months.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was a mix of both, theory and practical knowledge. The curriculum helped me knowing how differs marketing is in real life compared to textbooks. Overall the learning experience was really good.

Internships Opportunities

The college provided internships but most of the students opted on their own and got the internship. My striped was 15000 per month. And I got an internship in PGEL which is situated in greater noida.

Placement Experience

The highest package is of 38 lakhs and SGI has tie ups with more than 500+ companies for placements and internships. Moreover, the college provides 100% placement support to all it's students in all the courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

My per year fees for MBA is 122300. Registration charges are 10,000 and admission fees is 5000 which is one time. Scholarship is available to students who have scored above 90% in 12th boards and have a CGPA Above 7.5 in undergrad.

Campus Life

My overall experience at SGI was really good and it would rate is 100/100. I made a lot of friends. The classrooms were equipped with all the necessary infrastructure. All the books and journals were easily accessible in the library. There were a number of clubs such as marketing, finance club etc.

Hostel Facilities

The room has a bed, study table and a chair, a cabinet, a fan , an air conditioner. The food quality is good too and there's a different menu even week. The hostel is affordable with the cost being only 79,800 per year.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

I chose this college as the fee was affordable and in the heart of Delhi. Moreover, the crowd was good too. The admission procedure is to firstly fill the application form, then visit the campus or virtually deposit the registration and admission fees.

Faculty

Faculty was highly qualified. Most of them were either PHD Holders in their respective field or were government approved teachers with relevant degrees and prior experience in teaching. There were 7 exams in one semester. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20

Interview Experience

Yes there was an interview round in which they asked me questions related to finance and marketing. Like what are the channels of marketing and presented me with a case study too which I had to solve at that time only.

Night Life

The hostel fees is 79,800 per year. The campus is located in the heart of city and there are number of cafés nearby. The life at night is really enjoyable and not monotonous. The campus closes at 6 pm. And classes get over by 4 pm.

Honesty is the Best Policy

Likes

The college is very good, it has been 1 month and I am liking it very much just coz of the faculty they are all experienced and teach with great zeal. They also help u in clearing doubts and when you want to study u have a very high-tech study room.
There are a good set of students, the clubs are also helping students get into the management role, the companies which come for SIP, THEY TRAIN YOU FOR WHAT THEY WANT
The certifications have also been given by the college

Dislikes

The location is too far from my home. The travel time make me tried and study time reduces
The Hostel In sec-7 is not upto the mark. The location is very congested
There is o play ground, as I am a football lover but I cannot play

Placement Experience:

I am in the 1st year, so the question of placement goes out of discussion. The 2nd yr students have just come back from SIP and have a positive review. As per the favculty the placement are to be exxpected in the range of 15-25lacs.

LBSIM Delhi : An Institution with Value-driven Management with Elite Finance Infrastructure

Likes

Academic and Tech Facilities : Great Academic Rigor.
Faculty & Placement Strength : Faculty has vast industry experience. Corporate Relations are exceptionally strong.

Dislikes

Campus Size : In the heart of the country, a traditional open-air B-school experience is difficult.
Batch Intake : The intake for flagship PGDM course is high which causes high competition among students for summer internships and placements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

The curriculum is regularly updated to align with current industry trends and include case studies, life, project, lectures, workshop and exponential learning. These initiative help student build practical skills and prepare them for corporate roles.

Dislikes

Campus is relatively small compared to many other premier school limiting availability of large opening space and sports facilities
Some administrative processes can be time consuming especially during admissions and fees related formalities.
The academic schedule is quite rigorous , with frequent assignment presentations,quizzes and project making time management challenging.

Placement Experience:

The pavement opportunities at lbsim are good especially for tier 2 b school the institute has a dedicated placement cell that actively works with recruiters and supports student throughout the placement process. Regular training sessions on aptitude resume building group discussions mock interviews and communications skills help students prepare for campus recruitment.

Industry oriented PGDM with good learning and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

LBSIM offers good placement support with students becoming eligible after the summer internship. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG,EY ,Infosys, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Wipro visit the campus. The average package is around 12 to 13 lakhs per annum with higher offer offers for top performers, placement support, industry, exposure and alumni guidance are strong. I plan to pursue a business analytics role after completing the course.

Fresher at Lbsim

Faculty , grid and the administration is really good and supportive . There will be adequate amount of exposure to certain non academic activities too .Campus is also decently spacious and overall canteen and class infrastructure is also good .

Placement Experience:

The placements here is decent , good companies visit here , also the college is now been accredited with AACSB , which will help making the foundation stronger . Highest was 24 lakh , and average of the batch is 12.3 lakh . Almost 90% students get placed at decent position , while the placement cell also support each and every person with their utmost guidance .

Why i chose LBSIM for my PGDM

Likes

faculty is knowledgeable and is very well versed with the industy
this college is AACSB accredited. only 30 colleges in India have that
Learning resource center is amazing with a great variety of books

Dislikes

Campus size is small but competitors have a similar campus size
Sports facility is limited to TT, badminton court

MBA curriculum is well structured and covers the core areas of management including marketing, finance, operations, HR, analytics and AI. Courses are industry oriented, have a case based learning approach and institute's focus on practical management skills rather than only theoritical concepts.

The placements have been getting with every year. Last year, the highest package that any student from this college was able to achieve was about 24,00,000Rs. Students are eligible for the placements by the start of fourth or fifth semester

For the summer internship we start getting companies from late August and the interview kees going on till September and then our intership starts in April till July .These happen after our first semester exam

Remarks:

As a whole college is a good college for every student. College management is constantly in a bid to improve upon students' curriculum by roping in foreign professors and industry lecturers, organizing seminars etc.
