Remarks
The college has excellent lab facilities and NBA accreditation. It also houses very eminent faculties in their respective departments.however the campus is only 6 acres, and after the buildings there's really very less space to hang out.thankfully, the college is in the middle of trivandrum city, so you can literally hang out anywhere and return for the next hour.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is set by APJ abdul kalam technological university,kerala. The curriculum contains in depth theoretical knowledge on various engineering specialisations. Exams are conducted in end of each semester.however there will be 2 internal assessments per subject per semester which is added to the subjects overall grade.
Placement Experience
Placement cell functions inside college. The career guidance and placement cell heads all placement related activities. All placement training is free of cost. College does not provide internship while the student internship cell finds internships in various industries and communicate with the students in the college.
College Events
The major event is the college fest aagneya a three day cultural extravaganza. The event is hosted by the college union comprising of all engineering departments. There is also a one of a kind event, the flagship event of all technical societies functioning in the college, named 42.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is relatively inexpensive. You'll have to pay less than 10000 indian money per year for the course and facilities. Since the college functions under educational department, it is funded well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since i haven't applied for any scholarships, i don't know. However there is a scholarship named after nichola tesla hosted by ISTE, which is given to the best fresher in engineering.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities include working in different technical societies, national service scheme, or inspire. There is also a very active campus politics, if you're interested. The college also has a dance team, a fashion show team.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong in the college. The alumni of college are placed in big companies like TCS, infosys etc. Also Gareth's v kumar, an alumni had scored first rank in upsc civil service examination.
Admission
Write kerala engineering entrance exam(KEAM).once you have scored enough and get in the rank list,you can apply to all govt colleges through the same portal.you can select your priority of colleges in the site.if you're eligible,then you'll be given admission to the colleges according to your priority.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified. Most of the permanent faculty have obtained their doctorate from IITs. They have in depth knowledge on their respective field and are very resourceful to students when it comes with projects, research paper etc.we also have adhoc faculty from isro.
