Remarks

The best positive remark is that college provide full authority to the college union for every programs held in the college. Even the proffessor suggest suitable ways to make colourful program and also help the students to lead the way

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriiculum is a good one. All the exams are monitored under camera systems by the college faculties to avoid manipulation by the students. All the exams results are noted and is used to analyse each student by their performance

Placement Experience

3.5

During our 6th semester our college authorities meet different companies and ask them to place campus selection in our college, yes they provide internship opportunities by contacting different companies for different departments. Overall everything is great.

College Events

In our college every year each special days are celebrated.after the college election college day and arts will be celebrated in our campus. Every academic year college sports day and graduation days are also celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is introduced to each student differently. Their fees are dependent according to their 12th mark list and their entrance ranking.if student with good marks and entrance ranking will get a less feasible fee structure

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college offer loan facilities to the students. But these loans are not directly given by the college. The college authorities ask each student to find a banker and ask them to contact the college so that they can make sure that the student is getting loan facility from the bank by the support of the college

Campus Life

Our college is having a separate department for monitoring extracurricular activities of the students.every year the college sports eill be held by the college union and also college is having avast infrastructure laboratories

Alumni/Alumna

Yes seniors are so friendly and there is no ragging in our campus. Seniors help us clear our doubts if the proffessor are not there.even after their college they keeps contact with and suggest good companies from their experience

Admission

I was called from the college by a proffessor. He told me about the course and asked to me meet him at the college campus. I went the college and met him.

Faculty

The college campus is awesome. Our college is having special sports coaching department apart from the courses. Our college facilities are very useful. Our college is having a big library and a wide Laboratories

The campus is well maintained and is clean
Teachers are willing to give individual attention if needed
Above average food is provided in canteen

Dislikes

Lack of campus life as college is strict
Majority of the staff members are the type to hold a grudge against you
Spoon feeding students and not allowing them to think and improvise accordingly

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 6 onwards. But campus placement for civil engineering is fairly low. But companies like Aarbee Structures Pvt Ltd has offered jobs for my mates

Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
